Zachary E. Nahass focuses his legal practice in the areas of business, labor and employment law, civil litigation, and school law with an emphasis on special education. He advises school districts on compliance with the IDEA and the discipline of students including representation at expulsion hearings. Licensed to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Pennsylvania, Zachary completed his Juris Doctorate from The American University, Washington College of Law, where he was a member of The Administrative Law Review. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire. Prior to joining CGA Law Firm, Zachary owned a successful private practice in Maryland advising small businesses and individuals in the hospitality and food and beverage industries. He also spent several years as a litigation associate in a boutique litigation firm advocating for his clients’ civil rights.
