At the lowest point of my life, Mr. Stansell Helped me pick up the pieces. He was always communicative, answering calls or emails from me well outside regular hours. He offered wonderful advice and truly helped make this divorce and child custody process bearable. I cannot recommend enough.
Being faced with a divorce while on deployment, Mr. Stansell took excellent care and represented me throughout the process. He was attentive, responsive, and a calming force during a very hard time in my life. He answered all my questions and helped me to make sense of divorce proceedings when I wasn't even in the country. He helped me find contractors to do work on my home so it could be put on the market, appraisers for cars and jewelry - he really was an outstanding attorney. I highly recommend Zachariah to anyone who is looking for someone who knows their stuff, is aggressive when necessary and will represent you and your interests well, and also give honest feedback throughout the process. He is a five star attorney and worth every penny. Cannot thank him enough for what he did for me and my family.
Talked a good talk, but did very little. I never received communication, documents, returned phone calls. Was not informed of a court date, nor was the opposing counsel! Billed several thousand dollars for nothing. Left firm abruptly (I assume he was fired) which was the only positive thing that happened.
Mr. Stansell was the worst lawyer I have ever had. Not only did he take up to several weeks to respond to text or emails, he also never kept his word. When I finally did get a response it was always an excuse or him somehow throwing the blame on me.. He was very defensive during phone calls when questioned about the progress of the case. He lied to me several times about the case, and never made me feel like he was fighting for me or my daughter. He always made it a point to highlight that i wasn't paying as much as some of his other cases so i wasn't as high of a priority. I would recommend representing yourself, (which is what i did while he was my lawyer) before hiring this man and wasting your money or time. He also switched firms several months into the process and failed to inform myself of the switch or that he had a new number. I had to call his boss at Cordell Cordell, (the new firm) in order to contact him which still took several days. His voicemail is always full so don't expect to leave him a message. This is honestly the worst encounter I have ever had with any person in professional business. He has been fired now for over a month and upon multiple request and tries I have still yet to receive the letter of seperation as my lawyer, which he is legally obligated to send me, as well as the other lawyer so that i may receive new council. Absolutely do not hire this man or your life could change drastically and not for the good. If your child means anything to you or the case you are going through do not hire this man!
