Julia did a great job for me handling a support modification motion filed by my ex-, and was able to cut through the many distractions, delays, and exaggerations offered by the opposing party to reduce the case to a very manageable and favorable outcome. The case against me was dismissed!

I was in a difficult position with an attorney that was not representing me well and not willing to fight for my case. I met with Julia and she agreed to represent my case which gave me peace of mind. She represented me very well, always strived to achieve best outcome in my case. Julia is professional and competent attorney, knows exactly what she is doing, and is passionate about the work she does. Ms. Khorun is very time efficient when it comes to dealing with workload of documentation and get prepared for court. Additionally, Julia clearly explains the process step by step and provides necessary guidance for her clients, so everything seems as 123. I found her smart, honest, well educated, and well informed. Julia was on top of any situation and responded promptly to my e-mails and phone calls personally. I am highly recommend Julia to anyone in need of a family law expert.

Yulia Khorun is a lawyer who promises a lot, but does not fulfill anything - she did not make a single promise based on the results. If I were without a lawyer, I would not have lost more than I lost with her "help". Often does not answer calls and emails. She gave me false information about the possibility of my virtual presence at the court. For 2 months of "cooperation" on the divorce proceedings, I did not report to the judge the facts and information that I gave her and asked to attach to the case. I changed my testimony in She allowed herself to speak to me, raising her voice and be rude. Deliberately delayed the process in order to earn more money, dissuading me from the terms of the peace agreement. For two and a half months of "our cooperation" she took 8600 dollars and did not work a single cent, I had to be left without a lawyer, realizing that they take a lot of money from me, but they only bring harm by their actions. Took a huge zero-score fee for me, highly discouraged!

I absolutely echo last reviewer’s comments, except my experience was even worse. I hired Julia to represent me in a complex divorce case that was managed by a non-networked ARAG attorney. Prior to hiring Julia I have requested a meting and spent over an hour going over details to make sure she understand all of the complexities. I further offered to continue pay my current attorney so that he can help worth knowledge transfer to Julia and even help her on the initial set of documentations etc. Once the initial documents were given to Julia then suddenly she would become a “silent attorney” not only did she failed to send interrogators in 3 weeks of time that my previous attorney has already completed in full, but she also would refuse to respond to any email or phone messages. She would also fail to follow up on any emails with the other attorney which delayed mediation process and other case related things. I filed a complaint with ARAG and they wrote her a letter, and even that did not help! Pretty much I ended up firing Julia and getting another attorney. You can probably use her if your case is simple you don’t need to talk to anyone, and it is just about filing paperwork. Anything else, I would strongly NOT RECOMMEND her.

We hired this attorney to handle our wills through our group legal provider (ARAG). Pretty straightforward, right? Well, after the initial consultation and submitting our questionnaire/profile, she basically did nothing else. She said she was going on vacation, but would complete them when she got back. The problem was our membership with ARAG was expiring, but she agreed to bill ARAG and then complete the paperwork later. Over the course of several months, we could not get a hold of her at her office or by phone. She did not return emails either, until finally by chance I got a hold of her. She apologized, and said she was out because she had a baby, but could now finish them. Oh, that's why! I actually felt quite guilty now, so I told her no worries and congratulations. I gave her another month until I called back, but again there was no response. I would then try contacting her for another several months, before finally giving up and filing a complaint with ARAG. Fortunately, ARAG is paying for another attorney to complete our wills. I suppose I could've looked for a different attorney much earlier, but I did feel sympathetic that she had a baby. At this point, who knows the real explanation for her utter lack of professionalism.
