About
I am an attorney with many years of experience in civil litigation covering a wide variety of matters, including commercial disputes, international disputes, personal injury, premises liability, products liability, insurance coverage, and insurance defense. From 2000 to 2010 I practiced law in my home state of Florida before deciding to re-locate to Montana, where I have practiced ever since. In 2013 I founded my own practice devoted to providing excellent legal research and writing at a fraction of the usual price to both attorneys and non-attorneys. I can assist attorneys around the country with their projects in order to save them time while still making them money, while I provide services to non-attorneys in Montana and Florida. To learn more about me and how I can help you, visit my website at mylegalwriting.com.

When I first contacted Mr. Strickland, I was a pro se non-attorney who couldn’t afford a lawyer, and was determined to proceed anyway. I did what learning I could through free search engines like Leagle, but I couldn’t organize my pleadings until I got Wilton’s help. I wound up with some success (I had an uphill battle), which was more than anyone thought I’d have. Thank you so much for all your help!
I am an attorney who hired Wilton as a consultant on a case that I was litigating in his state. He has assisted me for the past 18 months with research, strategy and pleadings. He responded very quickly to all of my emailed requests for assistance (often within the hour) and, when he could not respond immediately, typically emailed me back to tell me when he would be free. Wilton provided great research and well-written pleadings, as well as brainstormed about strategy. I'm very grateful for his assistance and highly recommend him to anyone, whether client, or attorney.
I was not able to hire Wilton as he was not able to help in my situation, however he helped find someone that was able to help in my situation and he was very pleasant and great to work with.
My extensive and costly experience with incompetent, dishonest and self-serving attorneys caused me to ultimately avoid hiring attorneys for any reason, that is, until I met Wilton. He is one of the very few honest competent attorneys I whole heartily recommend. Wilton was able to incisively cut through the opposing side's frivolous arguments and helped devise a cogent and persuasive rebuttal.
In all the years that I have been involved in litigation, I have experienced few attorneys who have been willing, and able, to assist a pro se client who is battling a corporate Goliath's fraud. Wilton Strickland is an exception, whose legal expertise, writing skills, moral values, and fairness in charging legal fees has been a meaningful experience. I highly recommend him.
Wilton drafted all our documents needed to start our non-profit in Montana. Wilton is very professional and detailed, he came to our board meeting with a checklist of all the items that would be required to start our non-profit both on the federal and state level. He also had a list of items he needed from us to complete our organization’s documents for the State of Montana. Wilton also provided our organization with suggested documents that we would want to have internally to run our non-profit. His organizational skills reduced the amount of time that was needed during the board meeting which allowed us more time to discuss other issues. Wilton is very knowledgeable and he was able to answer all of the board member’s questions and well as provide valuable input. Wilton was able to complete these documents very timely and at a reasonable price.
