Bankruptcy law is not my world. But when a person finds themselves in this world. It's best to have a subject matter expert. William Collins not only knows his way around this horribly complex world. He is extremely good at communicating the details of his plan for you. Trust me this is not a fill out a few forms business. BK filing plan is custom to your situation. Here William really excels to find what is best and specifically for your financial situation. After my consultation I felt this attorney had my best interests in mind. -Randy Oakes
I chose William Collins to represent me because he is on top of his trade and yet very approachable and down to earth. He explained the whole process in details. The consultation was done in person by him, and not his assistant, like it was in my previous experience. He also charges reasonably. During the process he was prompt to answer all of my questions, via email or in person. Would gladly recommend!
William took a realistic honest down to earth approach that was made seamless which I foresaw as being burdensome. He charged a fair price and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking bankruptcy. He was responsive and brought ease to the situation.
We were already going through a very tough time and decided to file for chapter 13 bankruptcy. From the beginning Mr Collins was unprepared and misleading. With our lives in the balance there were multiple mistakes made by this lawyer. Time after time we received multiple letters stating that our bankruptcy was going to be terminated due to improper filings and mistakes. Year after year of our bankruptcy nothing changed more mistakes made and we were falling farther and farther behind because of all the mistakes made and information lost by this lawyer. Due to the mistakes made during and after the bankruptcy was finished there were still multiple debts unpaid and now with back charges and threat of foreclosure. I would highly discourage anyone from using this firm/ Mr Collins for any form of law consultation or action.. The entire process has put me and my family through unnecessary heart ache and anxiety. Please spread the word if you are thinking of going through bankruptcy look elsewhere. For the thousands of dollars spent up front and the seven thousand received for the what a thoughtless and horrifying experience we were put through. please do not choose this person to represent you. There are many other lawyers that can do the job correctly and be worth the thousands and thousands of dollars they make off the person they are suppose to be working for.
