About

I am a senior litigation associate at Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP. I focus my practice in the areas of commercial and products liability litigation, with a particular emphasis on acting as national coordinating counsel for corporate clients with large dockets of complex, high exposure litigation. I have acquired extensive case management experience in that capacity.  I have also developed essential litigation skills, such as preparing dispositive motions and responsive pleadings, coordinating large-scale document productions across multiple cases, drafting and responding to written discovery, preparing discovery-related motions, defending depositions, engaging in settlement negotiations, and regularly coordinating with clients and local counsel in connection with same.  In addition, I have significant experience representing corporate clients in connection with responding to e-discovery requests, including successfully negotiating with opposing counsel to limit the scope of the discovery requests to minimize costs and managing teams of associates, contract attorneys and outside vendors in connection with review and production of responsive documents.  I have also had the opportunity to represent clients in connection with complex insurance coverage issues related to commercial general liability, professional liability, and D&O liability insurance. Recent Experience• National coordinating counsel for an international real estate developer in connection with over 100 individual, multi-party, and putative class action lawsuits arising out of the development of residential resort communities. These actions are pending in federal and state courts throughout the United States and involve allegations of violations of RICO, the Interstate Land Sales Full Disclosure Act, state and federal securities laws, state unfair and deceptive trade practices acts, as well as claims for common law fraud, negligent misrepresentation and breach of contract.  •Represented developer in connection with securing over $50 million of primary insurance coverage in connection with the above-referenced litigation.  • National coordinating counsel for a national manufacturer in connection with defending numerous lead-based paint personal injury and public nuisance actions, including a nuisance action filed by the Ohio Attorney General seeking abatement of all lead-based paint in Ohio. • Defending an Atlanta-based, publicly traded retailer in a putative class action related to the sale of pressure treated wood.Bar AdmissionsState Bar of Georgia, Admitted 2006 EducationClemson Calhoun Honors College, Clemson University, B.S.
