Worked diligently for my case. Divorce cases are not like what you see on TV -- they take a while. Mr. Wigoda and staff stayed with me and communicated with me throughout.

I had the same experience as others noted. They just run up billing, pick fights, abuse others, and in the end you’ll run out of money and still not get your divorce. Run far away from these sociopaths and hire a serious attorney.

Absolute hacks. Bill Wigoda is a narcissist and his poor girlfriend, a business “partner” is spineless. They’ll run up their billing time and do nothing. They couldn’t even finish my divorce case in Illinois. They think they’re running circles around their clients. Their colleagues see them for who they are as well. It’s unfortunate that they missed their calling as bounty hunters. For anyone who has any questions about how bad they actually are- Google me. I’d be happy to share my story. John, an attorney at the law firm, is generally a good guy who is caught up in their shenanigans. I find myself praying for him. The other yahoos are helpless. Beware. This is not an angry client seeking revenge. This is a mother who lost her FOUR children because these lushes couldn’t get their heads out of their asses.

This was my first experience in court and this individual made an already miserable process ten times worse. He represented me fairly well on the issues that were “important to him” but when it came time to negotiate the other issues he was uninterested attempted to bully me into settling to my disadvantage and became combative when I insisted he provide adequate representation. At times I felt as if he was working for the other side. He was highly unprofessional and abusive in his verbal communications; argumentative and simply not interested in doing anything else except billing hours for picking fights with the client and then trying to convince me that it was me. I ended up firing him and it was the absolute best thing I could have done. I only wish that I’d done it earlier. I hired an excellent attorney afterwards and prevailed in the end. My advice to anyone is the minute it feels bad get out!

Hired as the children's lawyer. Charges 395 per hour. Wants to "take things step by step" = drain your money. Said he would "wrap things up in 3 weeks" 3 months later, nothing. He was also more concerned about getting paid, than the true welfare of the kids. Attempted to schedule a meeting during their father's visitation time, which tells me that he didn't even know the visitation schedule.

I had a taxy levy on my wages, could not afford to pay my current invoice of his. Previously, I had always paid my bill. When I could not, he tried to garnish my wages, but that could not happen since the IRS was taking money from my paycheck, over 70%. He then put a lein on my home, the home where myself and two children live. The two children he was representing in my divorce. He would go to court when he was not needed and charged me for that. I sent him emails and a voicemail pleading with him not to do this and he did not respond to me. He was supposed to represent my children, he responded at first to my daughter's texts, at the start of the case. Then he stopped responding to her altogether, when she was most anxious about the visitation situation.

Puts his own self-interests first, only concern is generating fees. Was argumentative, confrontational and in my opinion did not conduct himself in a professional. The sale of my residence was of the the most significant priority and he delayed in getting the court order for five months and then refused to execute said order, ultimately withdrawing four months after that. I filed a formal complaint with the Illinois Disciplinary Commission noting several issues, however no action resulted.
