About
Matrimonial and Family Law matters can be some of the most challenging experiences an individual must go through in life. Unfortunately, the stakes are very high as they often involve matters that will affect the lives of your children for many years to come. It is for this reason that you must consider a lawyer with significant experience in the fields of Matrimonial and Family law. Equally, due to the complexity of these matters, you must consider a full service lawyer that maintains close professional contacts in a vast array of legal disciplines such as coporate, real estate, taxes, etc. such that the attorney is equipped to handle the numerous ancillary issues that come with Matrimonial and Family Law matters. Given the many years that I spent "on Wall Street" allows me to provide strong guidance on financial issues such as asset valuation/distribution, income (both reported and unreported) and financial planning for the future based upon the support package secured in the matter. When choosing a lawyer, It is essential that they have a superior knowledge of the law, an understanding of the many day-to-day demands placed upon a family as they go through this process, coupled with a sensitivity to the fact that resources are better spent on "college funds" for your child than lawyers for litigation. Client satisfaction and effective, effecient representation is my paramount concern. I have spent decades refining my skills in each of these facets and will serve you well. I ask you to simply puruse my client reviews as I believe that they speak for themselves.

Will mentored me when I was starting out as an attorney. I didn’t realize how important his lessons were until years went by and I matured as an professional.
Will came highly recommended by an attorney friend of mine. I consulted with Will for a separation agreement. He was patient, empathic, and provided excellent advice without any pressure. It was obvious during our conversations that he loves his work and is truly interested in helping people. I am planning to hire Will to handle my case, he has extensive experience, he is tenacious when advocating for his clients, and understands the importance of building relationships. I know I will be in capable hands!
Will has been my saving grace. I went through numerous attorneys and have gotten nowhere settling with my ex in family court. Will is educated, fierce, honest, makes himself available for you, and really cares. He has become more than an attorney to me and I consider him a friend. He has always done what is in my child and my best interest. He really makes you feel good and that he totally has your back and is on your wide 1220 percent. He has a lot of connections in the court room and court system as well which is really helpful. It doesn’t matter if it’s a weekend or 1am if I have to contact with with an emergency he makes himself available for me and my child. I couldn’t ask for a better attorney and friend and I highly recommend him if you are in family court for any reason at all. We are preparing for trial and I know With Will in my corner I feel confident and prepared and ready to win.
I hired Will when a close friend recommended him to me when my original attny wasn’t getting me anywhere and couldn’t handle the other side. Will changed my life, gave me freedom, great advice, clever, sharper than a tack. His knowledge base and passion is so easy to see and feel.
No one enjoys this process and you feel a little lost during the whole thing. Luckily we found Mr. Sullivan. I’ve gone to court numerous times for custody and visitation but never felt at ease even with attorneys. Me. Sullivan was very knowledgeable to current laws and his expertise made my experience as painless as possible. Just want to thank Mr. Sullivan and firm for the professionalism, and giving us piece of mind during these difficult times.
I was introduced to William Sullivan, aka “Will”, about 10 years ago by a mutual friend. I was in the early stages of divorce and needed some legal advice; my friend recommend I speak to Will. At the initial consultation I discussed with Will all my questions and concerns on the typical divorce topics of house, kids, assets and the like. He listened intently and provided his guidance and opinion on each topic and he quickly defined a plan of action for me. His knowledge of and experience in both Family and Finance Law along with his caring demeanor and hearty laugh immediately put me at ease. I hired him on the spot. In both the negotiation and court phase of my divorce, Will was my champion. He fought for me where it made sense and advised me when it didn’t. When the dust settled, I had a fair deal and most importantly an extensive parenting time schedule. Through the years since the divorce, I’ve kept in contact with Will. He has always been there to answer questions and provide guidance on all things Family Law related. Bottom line – he builds lasting relationships with his clients. In my opinion, not only is he an awesome attorney, but he’s also a great guy and someone I call friend.
A close friend of mine who is also a Divorce attorney recommended Will to me and I am very glad that he did. Will helped to guide me thru a very trying and challenging time in my life. My ex-wife decided to move almost 30 miles away and to uproot our children from their childhood home, schools and neighborhood. She even refused to sell the home back to me. Will provided me with excellent advice throughout this entire ordeal and in the end due to his tireless efforts and exceptional performance in the courtroom we were victorious and I was able to keep the children in their home and retain residential custody. A huge win for a father!
William Sullivan is an excellent attorney. He is more than just an attorney, he is an expert in his field. He represented my husband and me in a grandparent custody/visitation issue. Will worked tirelessly, never leaving a stone unturned. He was on top of everything, prior to it even happening. His calls and emails are returned within a very timely window. Will's knowledge in cases like ours is astounding. He aligns himself 100 percent. The professionalism in the courtroom is there. The comfort zone is there. The reliability is there. The assurances are there. Do not hesitate in contacting him.
Will has been a true savior, guiding me like a true professional and friend during this difficult time. Even when emotions can distract you from the right course of action, Will was there to listen and help me do what was right for my daughter. He has been by myside during all the proceedings and always available at any time to back me up. He is a true safety blanket that is always one step ahead. He is aggressive and tactful backed up with professionalism and efficiency. Many times he has put my fears to rest after being faced with difficult decisions in this tough tribulation. Will was always been truthful and out for my best interests, clearly exsplaining everything to me and getting the exact results he said he would. Without a doubt, I would want no one else but him in my corner during tough times.
I first met Will about three years ago. My spouse was using at least two, possibly three mind altering drugs at the time. She was willing to lie, cheat and steal to get whatever she could out of me. She had no problem signing false statements and testifying falsely in court. I informed Will that I am a Christian man and will not be anything less than truthful during my divorce proceedings. Never once has Will tried to get me to sacrifice my integrity for any reason. He successfully had my spouse's case thrown out of court. We still have a little more work to do, but thanks to Mr. Sullivan the situation is looking much brighter for me. I believe whole-heartedly that The Lord sent Will my way.
