Bill Mitchell was born in Great Falls, Montana but since 1982 has lived with his wife Mary and their three sons in Tampa, Florida. Bill represents employees and employers in labor and employment matters and his representation ranges in size from sole proprietors to Fortune 10 companies. He has litigated numerous employment law and employee benefits cases and has assisted startup firms in obtaining capital. He has litigated several complex estate tax cases in Tax Court and a number of anti-trust cases. Bill is an accomplished author, an avid reader and has won awards for his poetry. He is very interested in politics and was a candidate for Congress in Florida District 9 in 2006 and 2008. Bill is the First Vice President of the Tampa chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) and he and his firm are actively involved in Operation Helping Hand, which is a MOAA program that helps severely wounded soldiers.
