WILLIAM M. KINNEY is a 2005 graduate of the Northern Illinois University College of Law. He has also earned an LLM degree (Master of Law) in Employee Benefits Law from the John Marshall Law School. He practices in the area of employee benefits law and specializes in the representation of multiemployer benefit plans and benefit-related litigation. He focuses on legal matters involving the compliance, tax and litigation issues of ERISA benefit plans, including retirement, welfare, and other qualified and nonqualified benefit plans. William is a contributing author to the second and third editions of the ABA Employee Benefits Committee BNA treatise Employee Benefits Law and Co-Chair of the ABA Labor Section Employee Benefits Committee subcommittee on Fiduciary Responsibility. He is admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the U. S. Bankruptcy Court and the Illinois Supreme Court.
