Bill Dickson was born and raised in Springhill, Louisiana, a small paper mill town in Webster Parish.  After high school he joined the Army during the Vietnam War.  He is a 1980 graduate of Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas with a BBA in accounting.  In 1990 Bill was awarded his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas.
