I was originally represented by one of the big disability firms for a complicated cardiovascular case. After one and a half years of little to no communication with the other firm (and no results) I did some research and found Will. After our initial conversation I retained him and asked the big firm to withdraw. Will immediately assumed responsibility for my case and provided outstanding representation. He obtained a positive result on my case within months. Will did an outstanding job on my case. He has great in-depth knowledge of how the Social Security Disability process works, He is great with client communication and helping the client understand the process. I would highly recommend him.
Without going into detail, my disability case was statistically the most difficult to win e.g. mental disorders like depression/bipolar with over 90% initial denial rate, and mine was. Even after appealing and going to a hearing, mine was denied like the vast majority of similar cases. At this point you’re required to actually file a lawsuit against the government as the last step, which we did.. My odds were extremely long, which is why I thoroughly researched every SSDI attorney in Denver, and the consensus was that Mr. Dawson was by far the best with a 99% success rate. Against the enormous odds, and due solely to Mr. Dawson’s extensive experience, my case was approved quickly. I recommend him to anyone with and SSDI case, and going with anyone else will decrease your chances, period. My only regret is that I can't give him more than 5 stars!
William helped me get my SSDI within a year. He was very helpful and answered any question I had. William worked with me very well when it came to doing paperwork, appointments etc. due to me having a hard time getting out and functioning in society.
Wow. He listened and reviewed past and present medical conditions. Always kind. Sharp and quick in the courtroom. The battle is over!
I feel I was blessed to find Mr. Dawson when I received the denial from SSDI. He appealed my case, and I received a hearing date months before I thought my case would be heard. He was efficient and thorough in presenting my medical records and other information pertinent to my case. I know it was this speed and efficiency that lead to a short hearing and favorable decision. If you are filing or appealing a Social Security case, this is the representation one should have. I highly recommend hiring him, as it will be to your benefit.
If your looking for a Social Security Attorney I highly recomend William Thomas Dawson from Denver Colorado, I can guarantee you will be satisfied with his professionalism, knowledge of the law, persistance with your case, and compassionate nature. Initially I had applied for disability myself and was denied, after that I thought I would look into hiring an Attorney for some assistance, obviously I was foreign to the process and had I known what I do now, I would have gone directly to an Attorney before attempting my own pursuit. I was also unaware that disability lawyers do not receive compensation unless they win your case. When I first met Mr. Dawson at his office, which was at a very nice location and peaceful atmosphere, I knew right away I had made a good choice when he walked in the room. He was very kind and pleasant to work with. We sat down and talked about my case, that it had been denied once already and that I had appealed this with an upcoming court hearing. I gave Mr. Dawson all the facts I had and he immediately took over my case and helped me through the entire process, his caring and calm demeanor, knowledge of the Law and social security process gave me great confidence that I was in good hands and had made the right choice for representation. I signed some release forms and he immediately pursued acquiring all my medical records, I really didn’t have to do anything after that point. Our first appearance in Court was tough though, the judge was brutal Im not going to lie it wasn’t easy, however Mr. Dawson remained very professional and respectful to the Judge, walking me through questions and taking over when I didn’t know how to respond. As we left the courtroom he thought it went well, I thought it didn’t go so good and unfortunatly I was right as they denied my claim again we found out several months later, it’s not a short process. So here is the amazing part about Mr. Dawson, after two denials from the social security division Mr. Dawson didn’t give up on me and told me right away I’m going to appeal this again for you, I don’t believe this is right, I didn’t even have to ask him. I was so very thankfull that he was willing to pursue another attempt as I truly needed the help. The disease I acquired a few years back is called Stiff Persons syndrome, a horribly debilitating rare disease that many Doctor's don’t even know exists, how could they not understand how much I needed help It was so disapointing. I was an avid runner, extremely active in so many areas of life, now laying in bed 95% of the day because my legs don’t work well. All my medical records speak for themselves so I just didn’t understand why they denied me. I don’t know exactly what Mr. Dawson did because there wasn’t allot of change in my medical condition, maybe a little more deterioration as I seem to be going downhill more each year, however he managed to successfully change there position and they ruled in favor rewarding me not only with disability, but they also backdated it two additional years. I wasn’t expecting this but the truth is I hadn’t worked in 5 years because of the disease and I am so grateful for his help. I will always be indebted to Mr. Dawson for his continued hard work, commitment to pursuing what is right and his persistence in helping me. I would give all the money in the world to have my health back, but since this disease is incurable I have to make due with what the future has in store. I just can’t say enough great things about Mr. Dawson though I really can’t, his commitment to helping me, and most of all obtaining a final positive outcome I couldn’t have done this myself. He worked very hard on my behalf and I highly recommend if you need help with Social Security, give him a call. Ron
I am a Cluster Headache survivor of 8 years...after trying to work for years it became clear I could not...I applied for SSDI and stressed through out the process but felt with all My Medical records it should be clear of my illness...The Government denied with no reason..I contacted Wil Dawson and met within days...His calm energy calmed me...He worked to insure All my records from all my Doctors and drug trials were received in a timely manner...When my hearing date was set Wil made sure I was informed as to what I could encountered within the Court Room...The day before the hearing I received a call from Wil...He asked if I was setting down and told me The Federal courts have decided to settle now NO Hearing Needed...I have relocated before the settlement was finalized and Wil made sure all information was relayed to me..I have been given exactly what we had asked for...Monies deposited fees paid...I can not praise Wil Dawson enough...If I was still living close enough A Hugh Hug would be my final Payment....THANK YOU WILL DAWSON....
Mr Dawson helped me navigate the SSI disability paper work as well as answering any questions I had along the way. I had an attorney previously who did not do a good job for my case, and I had to start over. Thankfully, I was put in touch with Mr. Dawson. He is very knowledgeable in all aspects of disability review cases.
My son is a Purple Heart retired disabled Veteran and was being denied Social Security. I was referred to Will who took on the case. Will did a good job always answered emails or questions promptly - he and his office staff was kind and professional. Will was well versed in Social Security issues and had knowledge with Veteran issues, after a second denial and another appeal of the decision he continued to represent him and we worked through the case to a positive decision.
Will did an amazing job getting my disability approved. He is thorough, tenacious and listens! My hearing was successful because of Will's preparation and presentation. I highly recommend Will for your Social Security Disability case.
