Seemed rather friendly and helpful when inquiring about a rental property he had listed on multiple real estate sites, and Craigslist. Mentioned being hesitant to rent to tenants without adequate, consistent, verifiable income, all qualifiers in which I do not lack. I began sending the required sensitive information for verification, in order to progress and expedite the rental application process. I had previously expressed the imperative nature in which my family would need to secure housing, upon being displaced in the midst of Hurricane Ida. He was seemingly, very accommodating. Before sending the previously mentioned info, he tentatively scheduled a tour of the rental property in question, to occur within 24 hours of the initial telecom, I agreed. Next day arrives, I call and text multiple times, to no avail. Another day passes, same. Radio silence, calls are being declined, texts are showing as 'read' but not being responded to, my wife experiences the same. Wondering if we've been scammed somehow, we Google the caller ID, leading here. Seems like a legitimate business. Without anything concrete, I firmly believe the turning point occurred when Wesley M. Plaisance happened upon my wife's ethnicity, marking the cessation in communication and general feigned-friendliness. Renter, beware. Additionally, this (potential) implicit bias may manifest in other ventures Wesley M. Plaisance is involved in, perhaps including, but not limited to: Red Golden Enterprises, L.L.C., Pin Oak Properties, Inc., and Breazeale, Sachse & Wilson, L.L.P., the last of which Wesley M. Plaisance may or may not be an operating partner. Interactions of this ilk are rarely innocuous, entropic occurrences.
