Wendy's practice concentrates in the areas of labor and employment and general commercial law. She regularly represents management in a wide variety of industries and in locations throughout theUnited States. She provides counsel to human resources personnel and other members of management in both the public and private sectors regarding personnel policies and practices, union avoidance and collective bargaining, reductions in force, employee supervision, and discipline and discharge. She assists employers in defending claims of wrongful harassment, employment discrimination, wage and hours violations, and claims made under theADA, FMLA, and other state and federal employment statutes. She represents employers in regard to such matters in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies, including the EEOC, NLRB, and Delaware Public Employee Relations Board. In addition, she provides her corporate clients with advice on general business matters, including contract negotiation and regulatory matters.
