My Bankruptcy attorney realizing I was Vietnam War Veteran recommended I use Mr. McDonough in the follow up appeal of a "PARTITION" action initiated by my sister. I went to Mr. McDonough's office and found no receptionist, no paralegal, no staff. He is a one man do it all operation. Mr McDonough appeared in blue jeans and T shirt. My experience was essentially the same as expressed by the two other reviewers. Specifically, Mr. McDonough agreed to provide services within a specific time frame. Mr. McDonough provided a "scrap" copy of a pleading that the average Uber driver could have prepared better. His incompetent Pleading was delivered hours prior to the filing deadline thereby preventing competent corrections. Mr. McDonough has to be in his 70's and was totally incompetent and charged an exorbitant fee of $15,000.00. I strongly suggest avoiding this attorney.
I had this guy for a while and he was totally incompetent. Went on vacation and postponed court without telling me. After wasting 800 dollars on him, I went on got a real lawyer, and won my case. The worse attorney in Vero.
Wayne handled my mediation and was a complete waste of time and money. He had us separated and instead of going back and forth from room to room, he would spend an hour or two with one person, then an hour or two with the next, telling jokes, telling stories, asking questions not pertaining to the case. In the end we only had a temporary agreement that only benefitted the other party and didn't get to any issues that we didn't already agree upon. Waste of my time and he felt completely comfortable wasting my money. His writing wasn't legible by the court paralegal and he didn't feel comfortable using a computer likely due to his getting on in years. He wasn't quite all together and that may be why he is a mediator these days instead of practicing law. Do not let your law firm hire him.
