Walter C. Bansley, IV, a former Marine Corps Officer, is a New Haven based criminal defense and personal injury lawyer.  Walt has tried numerous cases to verdict, from drugs and robbery to murder.  Walt has tought classes in Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, and Mock Trial at the university level for eight years. Walt is a board certified criminal lawyer.  The National Board of Legal Specialty Certification (NBLSC) is an American Bar Association (ABA) accredited organization providing Board Certification for lawyers.  Board Certification is a rigorous testing and approval process that officially recognizes the extensive education and courtroom experience of attorneys (www.NBLSC.us). Walt was also selected as a 2011/2012 New England Super Lawyer rising star and as a Super Lawyer in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016.  The Super Lawyers selection process is a “comprehensive, good-faith and detailed attempt to produce a list of lawyers that have attained high peer recognition, meet ethical standards, and have demonstrated some degree of achievement in their field” (www.superlawyers.com).
