Victoria Mora has been licensed since 2006 and has devoted her legal career to a wide range of immigration and nationality law matters. Ms. Mora has extensive knowledge and experience in legal issues related to unaccompanied immigrant children in removal proceedings, including special immigrant juvenile status and asylum. Her work in the immigration field also extends to VAWA petitions for victims of domestic violence, U-visas, citizenship/naturalization, family-based immigrant petitions, fiancé(e) K-visas, waivers of inadmissibility, §245(i) adjustment matters and employment-based immigration matters. Ms. Mora is fluent in Spanish.Ms. Mora has conducted over 30 presentations and trainings on immigration issues relating to children and juveniles. She was a speaker the 2012 Hispanic National Bar Association Annual Convention in Seattle, Washington, discussing the topic: “Representing Unaccompanied Children and Immigrants: SIJS, Asylum, T & U Visas.” She was a panel participate at Children at Risk’s 2011 Children’s Law Symposium where she address issues facing immigrant children in the U.S. Ms. Mora was also a speaker at the University of Houston Law Center Zealous Advocacy Conference where she discussed the topic: “The Intersection between Immigration Law and Juvenile Delinquency.”
