I'll preface this review by stating that I am an atypical client and my case was as serious and complicated as my criminal record is. And while the case itself ended up being charged out of prosecutorial vindictiveness and pivoted on a technicality, the consequences of a guilty verdict we're not inconsequential. I was facing 25 years to life on a 3 strikes case. After many court dates and I can assume many conferences with the assistant district attorney and judges, Vic realized that even though I had an extensive criminal record, I had never been offered any type of program or diversion under Proposition 36. So since the current case had a drug component to it, he proposed that I be offered a program. I believe that the DA only went for it because he thought for sure that I would fail and be back in custody with no possible opportunity to avoid a life sentence. However, I took full advantage of the blessing by completing the program and staying clean and sober. To Vic: Thank you for getting me my life back! If not for you I would still be sitting in a prison in California to this day. To those thinking about hiring Vic: You'll never spend a better dollar on anything in your life!
