Vickie was appointed to my child custody case by the Juvenile court two years ago. Not one person involved in my son's life could tell you why. My son is a happy, healthy, loving little boy. Neither my ex nor I was claiming any sort of neglect or mistreatment. We simply were in a disagreement as to our current schedule with our son. Vickie charged me $500 to come out to my home and watch my son play for aproximently 30 minutes. She did not ask me or my son any questions about who watches him, who transports him to school, who his friends are, his hobbies, his school or his care in general. As she was getting ready to leave, she proceeds to inappropriately praise my ex and insult me in front of my son and IN MY OWN HOME. Mind you I had been essentially raising my son as a single parent for the last six and a half years. In her following submission of opinion to the court she claimed that the standard shared parenting schedule was in the best interest of my son. Vickie used what I can only assume to be a recycled template where she simply filled in a few blanks with surface level information regarding my son and called it a day. This women does not know a single thing about my child, yet profited off pretending like she would have any clue what is best for him. It truly makes me sick to my stomach knowing this person's opinion weighs so much in the eyes of the court and she clearly does not take her job seriously. Vickie is proof of everything that is wrong with our justice system. She did not care about my son or what was in his best interest, but simply about getting her paycheck. The best part is that this woman had the audacity to ask for another nearly $800 from both me and my ex on the date of our hearing. $2,600 for 30 minutes of supervised babysitting? That is what I would call ROBBERY! You should be ashamed of yourself Vickie.
