Ms. Wolfman is admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of New York, Supreme Court of the United States, the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. She started her legal career working for Edward Morrison, a former Deputy Mayor of the City of New York. She was an associate attorney in the firm of Wasserman Schneider & Babb a firm concentrating on various international commercial issues. At both firms, before starting her own boutique firm, Ms. Wolfman would handle the firm’s divorce and family law cases in addition to the firms’ commercial matters. I only had a consultation with Valerie about my divorce case. Her approach was by far the most down to earth and honest that I could wish for. She is upfront and will give you a great amount of information for a first consultation, which is good if you don't want to get more confuse about what to do. The initial consultation fee was also extremely reasonable and Valerie was very very generous with her time. She did no rushed or pressured me to make any decision. I am still at the beginning of my divorce so I need to evaluate a lot of things before I go for a lawyer, but Valerie is for sure someone you should go for a consultation in NYC. Totally worth in every sense.
