I had heard Valerie Spino was a ferocious attorney. Actually, I heard she was something else much worse from a guy who was on the other side of her in court. Anyway, that is why I told my brother to call her when he had issues with custody and support for his son. I figured she would be like six foot five and imagined her to be terrifying. But in we walked to her office and sitting there was the tiniest cutest girl ever, bouncy and beautiful. I instantly wanted to be friends with her, she was so sweet. So I thought we must have the wrong office at first, but once she started talking about the case, I realized right away that she was everything I had heard. She was razor sharp and extremely blunt, which suited me just fine, and she laid out the case for my brother with perfect clarity. I was so glad we found her and she helped my brother immensely. I got a friend out of it too, as we still talk. Anyway, I thought it would be nice to post this for her. Cheers and thank you always Val.
When you encounter those life changing events, it’s the people that you choose to surround yourself with that makes all the difference. When I started looking for an attorney to handle my divorce, a friend of mine recommended Valerie. I knew that the person that I would select for this very important process would define my road to closer. As soon as I met her for the first time I knew immediately that Val was the attorney for me. She listened to my story and came up with a solid game plan to get my divorce resolved as fast and efficiently as possible. There was no BS with Val, just straight talk. She presented me with an arsenal of options with how to play the divorce out, and provided complete transparency to amount of time and the financial impacts of each decision. What I truly appreciated was Valerie understood and empathized with the emotional cost that come with any family separation. Then she asked me questions about what I really wanted to achieve. I love my kids so very much and their care and support drove my choices. She understood that I did not want them in the middle. Val’s approach immediately demonstrated her passion and drive, she hammered the other attorney and fought relentlessly for me. She showed them that we would go to war if necessary. In the end, I got numbers I could live with, and my kids got spared the trauma of a messy divorce, and I had a signed divorce decree just 6 months later. I owe it all to her. Thank you Val for everything!!
I was lucky to have found Valerie Spino and have her as my attorney. She has represented me over the past several years with matters of divorce, equitable distribution, child custody (Yes I have custody of my children thanks to Valerie!), child support (Yes my ex-wife pays me child support!), pension/QDRO, as well as contempt orders and falsely accused PFA's. Valerie's knowledge and expertise in all areas of family law is TOP NOTCH. Her attention to detail and ability to retain the littlest facts in memory is extraordinary. I don't know where I would be without her today. I am forever grateful. Anyone looking for the best of the best, look no further.
In 2012, I was faced with one of the biggest dilemmas one would have to endure. I found out my wife was having an affair. I know that occurs often, however we have five children and it really shook me to the core. As a man, and only source of income for the family, I was terrified as to what could happen. I have heard horror stories about outlandish child support/ alimony payments and I thought to myself; how on earth will I be able to have the kids and afford them too. Then a miracle occurred, and I found the law offices of Spino&Newcomb. Valerie Spino and Jon Newcomb immediately set up a strategy and were in for the long haul. I attained things that I never thought were possible, and only because of the outstanding work of Valerie and Jon. I'm forever grateful for the hard work and dedication that they provided me in probably one of the toughest moments of my life. I've kept my home, and more importantly my children. I'm truly convinced if I did not have Valerie and Jon I wouldn't have what I do. I highly recommend them to lead you to victory as they did for me and countless others.
