At first, I thought Troy was going to flake out on me. He was late because he was always helping others as a court appointed attorney and took care of them as good as his hired cases. That being said, he had alot going on. However, as I kept up with him, he sincerely continued to work on my case. Just when I thought he flaked out on me, when the final court date arrived, (forgot legal term) he delivered with a beautiful insight on why I deserved to get a Misdemeanor instead of a Felony DWI. He was the only person throughout my criminal history that suggested AA and I had no idea what that was, and it is more than a help for me and others like me. Sobriety is mandatory for my condition as I am allergic to alcohol and powerless to it even though I was only an infrequent drinker of 2 -4 x a month. I would have never found this out if it weren't for Mr. Locklear and I am very thankful.
Troy seemed eager to take on my case, but once I handed over my money I could never get a hold of him, he would not return phone calls, he would not update me on the status of my case, and he never even bothered to make one phone call to the several impartial witnesses that would have resulted in my case being dismissed. I have a conviction on my record now thanks to his negligence. STAY AWAY!
