He was always available if I needed to ask questions, or if I was concerned about something, there were also a couple of weekends that I was able to contact him, from what I have researched that's very rare for an attorney to be available over the weekend. He obviously worked his tail off for my case because He was able to get one of the 2 charges I had completely dismissed which then left me with 1 high and aggravated nature at that time, he was able to get that charge dropped to a second degree assault and battery which is a misdemeanor. I was looking at a 40 year sentence With the 2 original charges combined. He is a straight to the point aggressive lawyer in the courtroom who makes very good points and is able to backup his research and is always prepared , And from what I witnessed I saw that he also had good relationships with the prosecutors of the state which to me is very important, I cannot thank Mr. Shaffer enough, he was great with my family as well as with me.
