Where do I start? I had gone through 2 lawyers previously and had lost faith in ever finding a lawyer that would listen to me and help me. I had resorted to going Pro Se and all the stress that it brought on. I found Tricia through a friend and after my first meeting with her felt like she may be the one to help me with my case. She always was available to talk and I could reach her pretty quickly if she was available (she makes time for all her clients equally). Tricia listened and provided me with sound advice and was instrumental in helping me win my case. Her briefs and responses were always exceptional and I never had to write them for her (as I had to with previous representation). She is honest and never had to resort to underhanded maneuvers, simply put, because she is a highly competent lawyer. She kept me calm at all times and helped me weed through years of information to get to the most important facts and present my case. She is an exceptional and highly skilled litigator and I feel that the commissioner that heard the case and the GAL respected her and her abilities. My previous lawyers paled in comparison to her in the courtroom. Tricia’s courtroom presence and skills were very impressive. Tricia never promised anything she couldn't deliver on and let the facts in the case determine the outcome. She always told me that "you can't control free will of the courts" but she will definitely defend you fiercely and fight for what is right. The case cost me more than her initial estimate but that wasn't due to her low-balling but the complicated circumstances of the case. I do believe Tricia will be the best choice you make in helping your case. Tricia still checks in with me periodically to see how things are going. Professional and caring, what more can I say.

With two attorneys on retainer I was faced with a divorce/custody battle that turned my life upside down. After eight (8) months I parted ways with my previous lawyer and was faced an impossible situation. Ms. Knight was recommended by a close friend and was described as a smart aggressive attorney that will fight for father's rights. In my first conversation she was brutally honest and no non sense. She explained that a through vetting process will have to be completed and after meeting face to face she would inform me if she would take my case. She demands complete honesty. In our first meeting I explained the past year of my life. After our first face to face I was lucky enough to be a client. She is meticulous, through, and will force you to look at yourself deeper than you could imagine. She will not hold your hand and at times ask that you do a little soul searching. She asks that you are completely transparent. She does not sugar coat a thing and sets expectations appropriately while at the same time giving you a glimpse of hope because in your discussions you will find in Ms. Knight someone that will fight for you, a seasoned professional, a wealth of experience, knowledge, and someone that has seen almost every scenario that might be thrown your way. She gives advice on how to protect yourself, move forward, and expects you to follow it. Once her game plan is structured you can rest assured you will see results. I gave her an impossible case and I have more time with my children as a direct result of her skills. My matter is now resolved and I can begin a new life. In the end I now call her friend.

I went to Atty. Knight for help with my Family Court case. I had been put through the ringer by my ex's attorney for years and Atty. Knight put a stop to that very quickly. She was the ultimate advocate for me and my child, I would never even hesitate to retain her should I need her again. Atty. Knight is a rarity. Few Attorneys exist that put as much passion, drive and dedication into their practice. Atty. Knight understands the needs of her clients and fights vigarously to obtain the same.

I retained Attorney Knight for some family law matters and it turned out to be a great decision. She was recommended to me by a friend who is a great paralegal. She takes the time to get to know your case inside and out so she is well prepared when it gets to the court case. Her ability to think and speak on the fly in the court room is among the best. She also coaches her clients well on what to say and what not to say in the courtroom.
