Tricia, the daughter of a Vanderbilt law professor, grew up in Shelbyville (Bedford County), Tennessee and Nashville.TS - 05She graduated from Vanderbilt University with a BA in 1977She obtained a Master’s degree from Vanderbilt in 1982.She graduated from University of Tennessee School of Law in 1987.She has been in private practice since 1988, concentrating in personal injury, medical malpractice, and worker’s compensation law.She is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and GeorgiaShe is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Chattanooga Bar Association, Chattanooga Trial Lawyers Association (Past President), Tennessee Association of JusticeWhy did she want to become a lawyer? I believe we need to leave the world a little better off than when we found it. I knew as an attorney I would have one of the most direct and effective way to help people.
