Highly recommended! Very helpful and knowledgeable. Trey gave us useful information and us honest.
Now that I'm in my late 40's, I decided it was time to get responsible and put together some sort of will. Mr. Parker put together a living trust for my parents a few years ago, so they recommended I go to him. He met with me virtually during this pandemic and helped me figure out what would work best for my situation and goals. He is an engaging, enthusiastic teacher when it comes to questions about estate planning. He made the process straightforward and even (dare I say it) fun. He put together an affordable living trust for me in a timely manner, and I really appreciated his advice and detailed explanations of each facet of the plan.
Trey has helped us with our trust over the past five years. We have just finished updating it, and as always, Trey explains things so that we can understand what he is saying, providing relevant examples along the way. In addition to being congenial and a pleasure to work with, we find Trey extremely knowledgeable about trusts and the law in general.
Trey took the time to thoroughly explain the changes in the law and how it impacted the amendments to our Estate Plans. Due to the changes, he made adjustments to take advantage of the current law now and to also anticipate future changes. We were not rushed and he was willing to take the time to answer all our questions. It is a pleasure to work with Trey and we certainly can recommend him to those who are looking for a very capable Estate Attorney.
Trey Parker provided excellent advice and counsel during the preparation of my estate plan. This included several important suggestions and options that I was unaware of prior to consulting with him. His advice and preparation approach resulted in a better final product with less effort than I originally expected. I highly recommend him for the preparation of estate plans.
I am grateful to Mr. Parker and his entire team for supporting my vulnerable father and handling the familial and other challenges with compassion and delicacy. From estate planning and general knowledge of elder law, Mr. Parker was thorough in explaining the options to my mother and me as well. I highly recommend Mr. Parker to anyone who needs a lawyer that is able to deal with the emotional intricacies of complex family relationships. He is able to assess quickly the varying capacities of his clients and to help clients realize through good communication -- on their own -- what finally could be the best option given the legal instruments available and thinking through to all the future possibilities.
My mother had a trust created at Trey Parker's law firm years ago, and modified a couple times, long before Mr. Parker joined the firm. I am her successor trustee. She asked me recently to review her trust document, because she is getting up in years, and she wanted me to be prepared. In reviewing it, I noticed something that seemed to be at odds with how she had described the trust to me. I called the firm and spoke to one of the lawyers, who confirmed the trust was not set up the way my mother had thought it was. So my mother made an appointment to revise the trust. The next available lawyer happened to be Trey Parker, whom she had never met. My mother is in her 90's. She is frail. She walks with a walker. While her body may be failing her, her mind is sharp. She had lots of trepidations in meeting Trey. She thought he might judge her based of how she looks or walks or talks. She thought he might ignore her because of her age, and talk to me instead. Trey put her, and me, at ease from the get go. He was friendly and solicitous. He exhibited a good sense of humor. He made self-deprecating jokes. He was charming. He talked directly to her and made sure she understood the ramifications of the changes she wanted to make. Trey told my mother he would rewrite the whole trust and bring it up to the current standards of the firm. My mother expected the changes would cost a lot of money. Imagine her surprise when Trey told her that he would revise the trust for free, because her trust had not been set up the way she thought it had. My mother expected the revisions to take several weeks. We were both thrown for a loop when Trey told my mother that he would work nights so that she would have the revised trust in two days. Trey Parker turned a dreaded experience into an enjoyable one that wildly exceeded expectations. Thank you, Trey.
We were in need of an estate attorney and Mr. Parker was recommended. We could not be more satisfied. Mr. Parker was compassionate, thorough, and a pleasure to work with. He explained everything in depth and easy to understand. We highly recommend Mr. Parker to anyone in need of these services.
Mr Parker made my not so great bankruptcy experience amazing. He was extremely compassionate and timely throughout the entire process. All my questions were answered and I never felt confused. Even afterwards when my case was closed Mr Parker called me personally to make sure everything was going well with me. I can't write enough about how impressed I am with his performance and I would recommend
Tray made the bankruptcy filing easy. He explained everything to me in a way that was easy to understand. He took the time to answer all my calls. He is not what I expected it was not like talking with a lawyer. The whole process was a lot less confussing than I was told from other filers.
