Everything was great from the beginning, filled out the paperwork detailing the outcome I wanted from the case and he executed flawlessly. I highly recommend Trevor Avery. Hopefully, I won't need his services again but if I ever get another ticket in the area, he’ll be the first person I call.
He was able to get my case dismissed and saved me a lot of money!!!! Will definitely refer him to everyone!!!! Thank you!!!!
There aren't enough words that I can use to express the exceptional greatness of Trevor Avery! I faced some very serious charges that would have landed me significant prison time and absolutely destroyed my entire life. Mr. Avery thoroughly guided me around the legal processes of my case and was genuinely concerned about my well being throughout. He answered all of my questions in great detail and addressed any concerns that I had. He is a confident gentleman who works very hard to get outstanding results! If it weren't for Trevor Avery, I wouldn't have made it through this case or kept my freedom. I am forever thankful for Mr. Avery! He has my highest regards and recommendations!!!
Shortly after I moved to Jacksonville, I went to court with a friend I'd made as moral support. As we all know, we're told to arrive early (prior to 9am). However, court doesn't actually begin until after 10am most of the time. This day was no exception. The courthouse is unfortunately a place you can see people at their worst, their most vulnerable moments. I search for compassion and even though I mostly don't see it, I search. On this day in the sea of clients and their court appointed attorneys, Trevor Avery shined like a star. I watched as those court appointed attorneys sauntered in one by one, mostly ignoring their financially unstable clientele that had been thrust upon them in droves by the judicial system. It was clear they were thinking about that sweet golf swing, that steak dinner, or their twenty minute bathroom visit that morning rather than their clients. They walked right past the benches and collected in a group, laughing together. Enter, Mr. Avery. When Mr. Avery came in, he walked slowly but with purpose. His eyes scanned the benches and rested on his clients. He stopped at each, murmuring to them that he just needed to settle in and would consult with each of them in depth. I know because I watched him do exactly that. He walked past the group of well dressed, self involved peacocks, sat down and proceed to go through his paperwork. I watched him work for his unpaid clientele as if they'd paid top dollar for his services. This is the definition of honor, my friends. He treated his clients with dignity and his job with humility. He did all of this like the professional he is. I've hired him since to help with a custody case and am thoroughly pleased with the results. I will be forever grateful for what he's done for me and all I've seen him do for others. You can't teach a person to possess the kind of gentleman honor that pours from this man naturally.
I hired Mr. Avery to represent me for my custody case. He was up front with me about what to expect right from the beginning and he came through. He was easy to talk to, and I knew he was being honest with me about my case. I had to call him a couple of times after business hours because of my work schedule and he still made time to answer my questions. I have my kids thanks to Mr. Avery. I would recommend him to anyone.
I was facing 3 charges, granted the police officers completely over charged and without merit however Trevor knew what to do in order to prepare a strong case to make sure that when he spoke with the DA this would be clearly displayed. If convicted of one of the charges I was accused of it would have put my employment in jeopardy. Needless to say I was overjoyed and elated when I received his call that "ALL" charges had been dismissed! He charged me a reasonable fee and accepted a payment plan! I am extremely pleased with his service and would recommend him in a heartbeat!
He didn't do anything for me that I asked. Requested several times for him to file a motion of contempt for an ex who violated court orders, Attorney Avery said he would but never did. This was an ongoing matter for over six months. Went to court several times and he would do the opposite of what I asked to be represented for. Asked for many things to happen and he said he would work on them, months go by, same request is made, and still nothing is filed. His paralegals never call you back or email you back. When I finally left and retained a new attorney, his office refunded me a check for far less than it should've been. They can't explain the missing charges and refuse to respond to me. His paralegal told me that one court matter wasn't going to be calendared, then come Monday morning he's calling me saying that it's actually going on that same day. Nobody thought to reach out to me so I can attend the hearing. Another time a hearing was scheduled and nobody told me and a motion for contempt is being filed against me. The same thing I requested to happen to my ex just weeks before.
mr avery missed a court date for the plea deal sentencing and had to be summons by the court 2 days later for the rescheduled sentencing of my nephew. at the time I hired mr avery I was told my nephew would receive a sentence of 4-7 yrs best circumstances. what he got was 7.5 - 8.5 yrs and only because the da spoke on behalf of my nephew that the judge did not give him 10- 15 yrs.
