About
Ms. Phipps' practice is concentrated in civil litigation defense including products liability and toxic torts. She has handled trial work throughout Illinois and Missouri and have practiced in Madison, St. Clair, Peoria, McLean and Cook County in Illinois as well as the City of St. Louis, St. Louis County, Howell County and Jackson County in Missouri. She has defended a large variety of corporate clients throughout the states of Illinois and Missouri in toxic torts, products liability, and workers' compensation matters. Her toxic torts practice includes asbestos and benzene matters. Ms. Phipps is a member of the bars of the State of Illinois and the State of Missouri. She earned a J.D. degree from St. Louis University School of Law in 2003 where she served as an officer for the Women Law Students' Association, and earned a B.A. degree in Philosophy and Criminal Justice from Indiana University-Bloomington in 2000 where she served as a member of the Student Union Board of Directors. Ms. Phipps has worked in the Herzog Crebs LLP asbestos practice for over 7 years. Prior to joining Herzog Crebs, she worked in a primarily workers compensation defense practice with Evans & Dixon, LLC for close to 2 years. Ms. Phipps was born and raised in Evansville, Indiana but has resided in St. Louis, MO for over twelve years. She enjoys spending time with her husband and step-daughter as well as their two retired racing greyhounds. She has volunteered with Odyssey Health Care Hospice, Camp Ondessonk, and Rescued Racers and has served as an Alumni Student Recruiter for Indiana University.
