I work with a non-profit that Mr. Coffman has been representing pro-bono. He has put in countless hours and has been a constant source of guidance and advice to the origination. He has represented me personally in a landlord tenant suite that had become very nasty before he got involved. The landlord whose unit I vacated after my lease ended after living there over 10 years was trying to charge me for the upgrades and refurbishments she had done to most of the other units in the building over the prior year. His quick decisive action brought about a resolution that far exceeded my expectations, to my surprise He got the matter dropped. Since then he has helped me with a revocable trust and would be the person I turn to in any other legal matter. His rates are very fare and he has never exceeded his estimated expense. He is great to work with and kept me up to date and well informed every step of the way.

I've been using Dave Coffman for legal services for over eight years, and in that time I have had nothing but exceptional experiences. Mr. Coffman tirelessly ensures that he is completely up to date and informed about the legal environments that impact his clients. His actions and advice have been invaluable to my family and my business.

We used Mr. Coffman to help us resolve a legal judgment/lien so we could proceed with purchasing a home. The very first and most important factor we communicated to him was that our resources were very limited and we were not able to incur a large legal bill. He assured us both that he would use the least costly avenues and that we would be kept informed if costs rose above the initial estimate/retainer. The lien was cleared in time for the home purchase, although his negotiations with the creditor did not result in any reduction of the very sizable sum. That was disappointing but understandable, however, when we received his bill that was over 3 times the original retainer/estimate (2.5K), that was devastating. He had not communicated that to us, and it was clear that he did not actually have any clear sense of how the bill was stacking up, despite the original assurances. There were things on the bill that didn't make sense. We repeatedly tried to get him to honor his originally stated intentions, but he was dismissive. He did end up coming down to what was still more than twice what we thought we'd be paying. It was a horrible experience that our family is still recovering from. He said that it was a complicated situation that he handled well and we should be happy we got our house--so maybe he's a great lawyer to use if money is not a concern for you.

This lawyer borrowed money! And this lawyer billed me for work he did not do. Moreover, this lawyer billed my investment company for work he did not do. **Contact the Bar Association immediately, if he is looking to be hired as a lawer, legal consultant or anything to do with legal representation.
