I hired Ms. Mears for a divorce-related matter. Needless to say, she was great on preliminary calls... until I cut the retainer check. After that, I pretty much had to chase her down to try to get any kind of progress report of any kind (which there was little), she would go dark for months at a time, repeatedly confuse my case with others, and a year later and several thousands of dollars, myself and the opposing party ended up coming to a settlement outside of legal counsel since they were both greater hindrances to progress than anything else. Ms. Mears seemed scattered and understaffed, in which case I assume my "smaller" matter took a back seat to bigger money matters on her plate. All in all - this experience was a struggle end to end and I was thrilled to be done with it.

SHE WAS MY LAWYER. SHE GOT SUSPENDED FOR LYING TO THE COURTS AND RUINING EVIDENCE IN A CASE AGAINST HER. I WILL NEVER HIRE HER EVER AGAIN AS SHE HAD TO LET US GO WHEN SHE WAS SUSPENDED. I FEEL SO BAD FOR THE GIRLS SHE HAD WORKING IN HER OFFICE. EACH AND EVERYONE HAS TO FIND A NEW JOB BEACUSE THEIR BOSS COULDNT DO HER JOB PROFESIONALLY OR CORRECT. DO NOT EVER GO TO HER.

I hired her for a termination of parental rights. Uncontested. She failed to file the paperwork for 9 months. Eventually we taken to court by the respondent. She was found guilty of violating 2 rules of procedure. Case was out of Fremont County. Presiding judge was Young.

I had hired Tracy for custody issues that turned into other problems. Not only was she unresponsive to my needs and wants she was unmotivated to help get me anything and filled my hopes with lie after lie. This was all in the whole three times I actually met her face to face. She wouldn't give me two minutes of just listening to me. I felt she knew nothing about my case going into court. She was not dressed like you would expect a lawyer to look. She basically rolled over and the other parties attorney made her look like an idiot. For the amount of money I have paid to her she should have at least read more of MY file and not just gone be the other lawyers demands. She only cares about money and that is it! Don't waste your time thinking she's going to solve any issues other than take you for all the money she can. Do yourself a favor and save your money and sanity!

I hired Ms Mears to represent me in a case regarding fraud. She was the only person available under my law plan. She initially was anxious to take my case and was available by phone. Once she received her retainer it took her six months to send a letter to the party I was suing. I called her office for months prior to the letter and not one call was ever returned. She had a paralegal who worked part time that I was able to reach but she eventually quit. Other than a letter that was sent she did nothing for the money received. It became very stressful for me trying to reach her via email or phone which not a phone call was ever returned. I went so far as to file a grievance with the Wyoming State Bar which proved to be a waste of my time since she lied to the judge about her response to my complaints. I would not recommend her for anything since she does not care about her clients, is dishonest, and a disgrace to her profession. My experience with her was time consuming, frustrating and so disappointing that I felt cheated and abused. People like her are a prime example of what is wrong with our world today.

We were scheduled to have a phone consultation about our case with her through our work legal plan (she was the only lawyer available under our plan in our area). She never showed up for the conference call and when we emailed asking why, she sent an angry, unprofessional reply that she was held over in court. We would have been understanding of that, but no one from her office knew about our scheduled appointment when we called to ask why she missed the consultation call and therefore we were not told that she was held over in court. We would have been understanding. She also hadn't even looked at any of the documentation we had forwarded her so she could decided if she was able to help us. She claimed we hadn't sent it to her but to her legal secretary. How is it our fault if she can't communicate properly with her staff to relay information? If that's how she treats prospective clients, than how does she even stay in business? I guess after she realized that our case was not in her area of expertise, she decided it was ok to treat us like she did. Would not recommend her at all! Find somebody else who at least pretends to care and have a professional attitude.

I guess after she realized that our case was not in her area of expertise, she decided it was ok to treat us like she did. Would not recommend her at all! Find somebody else who at least pretends to care and have a professional attitude.

I guess after she realized that our case was not in her area of expertise, she decided it was ok to treat us like she did. Would not recommend her at all! Find somebody else who at least pretends to care and have a professional attitude.
