She did not return my emails, or phone calls in a timely manner, if she returned them at all. One time she actually answered her phone when I called and honestly sounded like she had no idea who I was. After telling me she was too busy to attend one of my hearings, and that she was sending an "associate" from the firm whom I had never met, she then rescheduled the hearing without my permission or consent. She then cancelled the rescheduled hearing, again without my permission or consent, and as a result, the proceedings are still dragging on now, after almost a year. At one point, I told her if she wanted to hand my case over to another attorney in the firm who had more time, she responded (right away, ironically,) by telling me she would not represent me anymore, and that I had to find another firm. This was a few days after my ex husband filed another motion to sue me for something else. I was frightened and very upset, and she totally left me hanging in the wind. She did everything possible to make any already terribly situation much, much worse. I called several of the partners in her firm to complain, and they ended up giving me my full retainer back and admitting that she dropped the ball. In fact, I just heard recently that her secretary got fired, although, in my opinion, she is so incompetent, she is the one who should be fired.
