About
Ms. Farrar received her J.D. from the University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Law in 1997, where she received recognition on the Dean's List Honor Roll. Ms. Farrar was the Research Editor of The Urban Lawyer, a highly-circulated American Bar Association publication on state and local government law. She co-authored "The Return to State Autonomy: The Eleventh Amendment and Other Key Decisions of the U.S. Supreme Court and Lower Courts Affecting State and Local Government," 28 Urb.Law. 563, 1995-1996. Ms. Farrar was also a Moot Court Team Scholarship Award Recipient and member of the U.M.K.C. National Moot Court Team. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication from the University of Missouri, Columbia. Ms. Farrar has lectured at numerous equine and continuing legal education programs, including Equitana USA and the National Equine Law Conference held in Lexington, Kentucky. She is an accomplished competitor in American Quarter Horse Association horse shows, having received numerous Top Ten awards at the World Championships and was ranked Second in the Nation (Reserve Honor Roll Champion) with her show horse. She is currently active in the dressage industry as an owner, breeder and competitor with her Friesian stallion.She resides in Portland, Oregon.
