Meghan is the most recent addition to the team of attorneys at Ammarell Deasy, LLP. She was admitted to practice law in Colorado in October of 2021. Meghan obtained her law degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and her bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, summa cum laude from St. Cloud State University in Minnesota. During her undergraduate studies, Meghan was a proud member of the Huskies’ varsity swim team.Prior to attending law school, Meghan always knew she had a passion for family law. “There was virtually no doubt in my mind I would work in the world of family law,” Meghan says. “As a child of divorce, I think I bring a unique perspective to our family law cases.” She has firsthand experience with most family law issues and understands the importance of remaining child focused.While in law school, Meghan worked at a family law firm for an entire year prior to sitting for the bar. Meghan’s work there solidified her desire to become a family law practitioner. The day after bar results were released, Meghan eagerly accepted a position at Ammarell Deasy, LLP."One of the things I love about our firm is the immediate attention we pay to understanding our client’s goals and strategizing how we get there.” Meghan is insightful and compassionate while working with clients to achieve their desired outcomes. Although Meghan is no longer a collegiate athlete, she remains extremely active. She develops some of her best case strategies while on a run or during a lift at the gym.Meghan is a true Midwesterner, born in Dayton, Ohio and raised in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. While she has had the opportunity to live in seven states across the country, Colorado is by far Meghan’s favorite. When not at work, Meghan enjoys adventuring with her Australian Shepherd and skiing as often as possible. She loves to ski all the moguls at Winter Park on a powder day and hopes to one day ski the Swiss Alps.
