I was being harassed by bill collectors and behind on my home mortgage. Tim's fee was very fair and he gave me a payment plan. He filed my bankruptcy right on time and explained everything along the way. He did a very professional job and my debts were discharged and he even helped me get a loan modification for my home mortgage. I got a fresh start with my finances and I really couldn't have done it without Tim. I would definitely recommend him to anyone having financial difficulties.
He was referred by a friend. Total mistake using this guy. Never finished his work always begged for more money ( with out explaining why) and really seemed to not know what he was doing. This guy sould not practice law. I reported him to the bar. Please please stay clear.
I was told by the partners of the law firm he was with at the time that this attorney was extremely experienced and knowledgeable in corporate and personal bankruptcy law. However, the opposite turned out to be true. He made numerous, serious, and costly mistakes which are still causing me tremendous financial hardships, even years later. His knowledge of corporate bankruptcy law seemed to be extremely limited and his representation in my personal bankruptcy was frustrating, argumentative, and exhausting - not professional at all. If I didn't spend many, many hours researching the bankruptcy laws and then explain to him why I felt he was making bad decisions on my behalf, I would be in even worse financial shape than I am now. And if all of this hasn't given you a clear picture of the extremely unprofessional service I received from this attorney, I have one last example to share with you. Rather than spending time reviewing my case with me before my hearing began, he chose instead to walk around the courtroom handing out his business cards to other debtors and quoting them prices MUCH less than he was charging me!!! He overcharged me by thousands of dollars, refused to refund part of my retainer, and then willfully misrepresented those costs to the Bankruptcy Trustee and the Court. Bankruptcy is supposed to offer you a "fresh start" but because of this attorney, for me it was just the beginning of a horrible nightmare which continues even today!! I would NEVER recommend this attorney to anyone!
Took a retainer and filed late! Messed my whole bankruptcy up! Do not use! Unprofessional! I reported him to the bank ruptcy judge and to the discipline board!
