Brandon Waddell is an associate at Caplan Cobb LLP in Atlanta, Georgia who focuses his practice on business disputes, business counseling, constitutional tort litigation, and appellate advocacy.  Before joining Caplan Cobb, Brandon served as a law clerk to two federal judges—first at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama and then at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in Atlanta. As a former federal law clerk, Brandon has an intimate understanding of federal practice and procedure.  Since completing his clearkship, Brandon has represented clients in both diversity cases and cases raising a variety of federal questions, including claims under the U.S. Constitution, Antitrust law, and the Copyright Act, among others. Brandon has also successfully advised and represented clients in Georgia's state trial and appellate courts in matters involving a variety of subjects ranging from contract disputes to state regulatory schemes to employment claims to post-conviction relief in criminal cases. Additionally, Brandon has abitrated cases before several arbitral fora, and in 2014 gave a presentation on important changes in the law of arbitration law during a seminar at the Georgia Bar.
