I am a partner at Hansen Wright. I graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University in History and received my Juris Doctor from the J. Reuben Clark Law School.I have considerable experience in the areas of municipal law and criminal justice. I am currently the Highland City and Eureka attorney. I was appointed Special District Deputy Attorney for Salt Lake County in 2014. I have also has served as Special Prosecutor for Utah County since 2012. I advise key personnel and city officils in several municipalities regarding land use, constitutional law and ethical issues.In 2015 the Utah Supreme Court appointed me to serve as a member of its Committee on Professional Conduct. I am frequently in the courtroom where I apply my skills as a trial advocate in state and federal courts. I maintain a private legal practice focusing on intellectual property (emphasis on trademark and copyright law) and estate planning (emphasis on wills and trusts).
