About
After spending nearly two years working as a law clerk at Division III of the Washington State Court of Appeals, I joined Tim Edwards & Associates, P.S. as an associate in June 2011. Since then, I have worked on cases ranging from simple dissolutions to complex third party custody actions, and everything in between. I practice in a variety of areas within the family law sphere, including divorces, parentage (paternity), parenting plans, child support, modification actions, third party custody, and civil domestic violence cases. Every case is different and every client has special needs. I work with my team to ensure that my approach to each case and each client is tailored appropriately based on the goals of each client. I practice in both King and Pierce Counties.

Sara helped my husband get a 50/50 parenting plan settled. It was a little rocky and my step-son's mom definitely did not wanted to work together. She claimed domestic abuse and after a temporary parenting plan was accepted by the court for a 50/50 schedule, my step-son's mom came up with a lot more lies, and still my husband got what he was fighting for. We are so very grateful for Sara and her consul. Always straight to the point, truly focused on what would serve the best interest of the child and telling us what could or could not be done. Process moved fast and pricing was more than fair. I cannot thank Sara enough. I am sure besides her counsel and building of our case, the way she represented my husband in court was what gave us a standing chance of getting what is only fair for both parents and child. Thank you Sara!!
Sara and her office staff were amazing!! I walked into their office with a lot of fear and anxiety as I was looking to divorce an abusive man. They were very empathetic and took the time to listen to my story and concerns. They explained to me in detail what they could do for me and how the process worked. They did not sugar coat anything. Even when it was something I didn't want to but needed to hear, they told me. Sara is very knowledgeable, straight to the point, punctual, and aggressive, yet caring. She helped get me through one of the most difficult times in my life which included the restraining order process then the divorce process. In the end I was lucky, and blessed, to have found Sara. I would recommend her to anyone!!
Sara managed my divorce which was the low point in my life. She is so bright, and I quickly decided I could put my full trust in her. Sara has a very thorough knowledge of the law and helped me through many difficult decisions. Also, I have this pesky need-to-understand every legalese term and every number in a spreadsheet, and to ask every conceivable question. Sara was incredible patient with my pesky needs so I never had to sign-up for something I didn't completely understand.
From the beginning, I felt that Sara was looking out for my best interests in a unique financial situation in which I stood to lose a lot. She was straightforward and honest about potential pitfalls since Washington is a community property state in which the breadwinning spouse is essentially punished for being the provider. However, Sara did all in her power to protect me financially, always thinking of factors I would not have known to consider. This was especially impressive at mediation, when in amazement I watched her quickly and accurately sort through the various topics that needed to be addressed, and I actually left the mediation happy with the outcomes. Sara also found ways to enhance my child custody schedule to fit in with my work schedule, and interestingly, she did take my ex's needs into consideration as well since she knew that I was not out to "shaft" him but rather work out a fair plan in which I got what I needed. She legally found many methods that worked in my favor, and I appreciated that she recognized that I did not need or want emotional support but legal assistance. I would recommend her to anyone who wants a dedicated and persistent attorney to look out for them, their children, and their finances. Thank you, Sara!
Sara assisted my husband with a Parenting Plan/Child Support Modification. From the start we could tell she knew her stuff about family law. She is very competent and cares about her clients. Her staff mirrors her work ethics. We received timely responses to emails and phone calls. We were very satisfied with the end results in resolving my husband’s case.
I hired the law firm of Tim Edwards and Associates to handle my divorce. Sara Corvin was my attorney throughout the process. The entire experience was positive in the fact that I trusted Sara so much. She was always honest, fair and caring for me personally. She was truly a pleasure to work with, I would definitely recommend her to my friends and family for their legal needs.
I would recommend Sara Corvin to anyone needing an excellent Lawyer. Sara was very professional, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. She made me feel very confident that I had hired the right person for the case. She was always very prepared and responsive to my calls and emails if she was not available. I feel fortunate that I had her on our side and not going up against her.
She told me a lot of things that ended up not being true. I was unprepared and blindsided on multiple occasions. I liked her as a person but felt like she didn’t fight for me at all. Waste of money, emotionally taxing and disappointing. She came off as very uneducated and uncaring in the end
