Tim did a great job with my divorce. He was very honest and up front with me. I would recommend him. He goes above and beyond for his clients.

Tim is a great attorney. He helped me (and still is as needed!) with my divorce. Any time I contact him with questions, he is very quick to get back to me, and with good advice. There were times where he would go to bat for me, then others when he'd tell me, even though I will probably win, that it's not worth it to go to court over. Will end up costing me more than what I'm going for. Tim is a very nice, honest, straightforward lawyer.

This year Tim assisted me with a very complicated case in the Berks county courts. I was well informed throughout and felt good that my case was in the hands of someone who was fighting for me every step of the way. Highly recommended!

I've had the privilege of having Mr. Bitler handle my divorce. Never a pleasant thing to go through in life, but it's important to get these things done quickly. Tim kept me in the loop and took his time explaining the process. I always felt represented and he was doing everything possible to keep it moving. I definitely recommend Tim to anyone needing his expertise.

Timothy worked as an intern for my attorney David Sobotka during the lengthy custody and divorce proceedings that were very complicated and difficult due to the spitefulness of my ex-wife, and then started working out of Mr. Sobotka's office after passing the Bar. He has handled the final proceedings of my divorce with diligence and courtesy and is very personable. He works very efficiently, as does Mr. Sobotka, and did a great job for me. I would highly recommend Mr. Bitler

During our case for a pfa case Mr.Bitler kept in contact with us, explained any concerns we had and was just pleasure to work with.

Tim helped me with a complicated custody case in conjunction with two PFA cases. He did not sugar coat anything for me. I’ve dealt with lawyers before who made me feel like they would take care of everything and I didn’t have to worry about a thing...until they didn’t deliver the results they had me feeling so confident we would see. Tim did not always tell me what I wanted to heard and at times I was frustrated with what he was saying but he had to say them. From the very beginning Tim was upfront about the challenges I was facing and told me I would have to do a lot of work. I appreciated the directness because we faced many obstacle along the way and if I was not told that I had to do the work I would not have been prepared to give him all of the necessary information that only I could have provided him with and he needed in order to prepare for my case. He gave me all of my options and explained the possible outcomes of each followed by the next course of action if the outcome wasn’t what I was hoping for. I ultimately followed my gut and made my own decisions. Tim was prepared to help me with either course of action I chose. Tim was bombarded by opposing council in the final days but he work endlessly on my case....he even made time on the weekends. On the day of the custody case a lot a challenges were presented but Tim was prepared and again explained the possible outcomes of each option. In your custody case you are not obligated to follow the normal course of action others have taken and my case was anything but normal and Tim was prepared with the information I needed.

When I first started working with Tim, we discussed my case at length and he made recommendations on how to proceed with my divorce and custody. I felt confident he was familiar with my case and trusted him to do what was best for me but when we had to appear in court, several times he was unprepared and had many facts incorrect despite billing me for $500-$800 to review my file before each hearing (and there were many). Being unprepared hurt my case on several occasions. At one of the hearings, he lied to the judge in order to cover up a mistake he had made which then made me look bad to the judge. At my final divorce hearing, he made a recommendation to settle the case, which I questioned but he assured me it was the way to go so I agreed. The following day he contacted me to advise me that he was "unaware" of the law surrounding my situation and there could potentially be a problem with my settlement. There were many other issues and I would not recommend him to anyone in need of an attorney.
