I had an alimony battle to fight and when I decided I needed an attorney, I went to Shaheen and Gordon. I met with Mr. Ayer only 6 business days prior to my final hearing. He was a superb active listener, dissected my original evidence from 5 years before, and discussed strategies with me leading up to the court appearance. NH alimony laws changed Jan 19 and I was being brought to court just three mos later. I gave him a seemingly impossible task and he was worth every penny yet was still very fair with my bill. Needless to say, with so much paperwork and history to understand, determining if the new law was a factor and only giving him 6 days to help me avoid 5 more years of alimony payments, I was so extremely pleased with his presentation at the hearing. He was so effective at his craft, the judge ruled in my favor in less than 24 hours. I have and will continue to recommend Mr. Ayer to anyone who needs counsel.

I was involved in a civil court case that was quite out of the ordinary, upon contacting our local attorney we use for many things, they recommended Shaheen and Gordon. We were assigned Timothy and I honestly could not be more pleased. Always followed up in a very timely manner with emails and phone calls. He was always keeping me updated on the case. Being an odd case, he researched the matter and was in my opinion very well informed on the type of case by the time mediation came. Pricing was very fair, I also feel like I was well represented. Hopefully I will not need him again, but would highly reccomend him and go back to him in the future!

I engaged Mr. Ayer on two occasions. On the first matter, he was unresponsive and left many emails and messages unreturned. On the second matter, he was in over his head and gave bad, life-changing advice. I don't think his firm, S.Gordon, should have allowed him to advise on the matter as it was outside his expertise. Do not use this guy because he will not return your messages and does not give good advice.
