About
I have been an associate with Caroselli, Beachler, McTiernan & Conboy since 1995. I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from Dickinson College in 1992. In 1995 I earned my J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law, where I was a member of the Law Review from 1993 through 1995 and served as Associate Recent Decisions Editor from 1994 through 1995. Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, Georgia, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the Third District Circuit Court of Appeals, I am a civil litigation lawyer focusing on appellate law. I have been involved in every aspect of an appeal including post-verdict motions, analyzing and researching law, perfecting appeals, preparing appellate briefs and appendices, post-argument motions, and petitions for certification or certiorari. I am familiar with Pennsylvania appellate forums, having handled cases before Pennsylvania's Commonwealth Court, Superior Court and Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third District. Beyond my appellate focus, my practice areas include Workers Compensation Law, Social Security, and Personal Injury, including auto collision, premise liability, product liability, and denials of long term disability benefits. I am a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, Allegheny County Women's Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Western Pennsylvania Trail Lawyers Association, and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice. I volunteer with the Allegheny County Protection from Abuse Program, representing victims of domestic violence in obtaining PFA orders, and I am an active volunteer in my children's schools and my church.
