About

Attorney Thomas A. Miller has owned a general law practice in Milford, CT since 2013. Rather than focus on one area of law, Tom runs a law office that can serve as a "one-stop-shop" for many of your legal needs. His practice areas include divorce, custody, child support, criminal defense, probate (including will writing and estate probating), residential real estate (purchases and sales), and debt collection. Tom graduated summa cum laude from Western Connecticut State University and cum laude from the Regent University School of Law. While attending the Regent University School of Law, Tom had the honor of being selected to serve on the editorial board of the Regent Univeristy Law Review. During law school, he also served as a law clerk for the United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary. Prior to founding the Law Offices of Thomas Miller LLC, Tom served as a temporary assistant clerk for Stamford Superior Court. While working for the court, in addition to editing and reviewing judicial decisions, Tom also played a hands-on role in the management of more than a thousand cases.  Tom is also an adjunct professor at Western Connecticut State University, where he teaches a course every spring semester entitled "Contemporary Issues in Justice and Law Administration: Moot Court." Tom also serves as the Program Director of the Western Connecticut State University Moot Court Program.  Tom is very active in the Milford community. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Milford, a coach in the Devon Rotary Knights Youth Basketball League, and as a Justice of the Peace. To learn more about Tom, and how he can help you, please call (203) 283-1270 or visit www.themilfordlawyer.com.

Tom did an awesome job representing me in a traffic case. He kept me informed at all times of the possibility of various outcomes, what my responsibilities were, etc. I was especially appreciative of his patience in explaining the step by step process of how going to court would work. I had never been before, and he his professionalism and confidence reassured me. The best part was that Tom was able to get all charges dropped! If going to court could be at all positive, Tom made it happen.
