Very honest, reliable, Mr. McG took my calls when ever he could or returned then very promptly. He is in the process of helping a father of 3 beautiful kids, who are being emotionally traumatized by their own mother that they currently reside with. Over the last 3 months the mother has tried to have her 13 yr old son arrested for one reason or another and recently had the child Baker-Acted (he was released earlier than usual because there was nothing wrong with him). She was willing to give the father custody of the child until she was served by the father with the papers to assume sole custody with the child. Now she's forcing the child to come back into her home and stay where he is obviously not wanted. In the meantime the mother has been in and out of mental institutions all her life and in the last 5 years has successfully been able to have the father Baker-Acted, the oldest son Baker-Acted, now the youngest son Baker-Acted, Now the father and the youngest son were released and were found to be physically and mentally fine. The eldest son has a close bond with mom and was taught to obey mom, if she tells him to tell the docs that he hears voices, he said it and is currently hostage to the drugs clonidine and aderal for which the mother receives Soc Sec $250 for every child declared disabled as well as herself. The whole situation gets worse for the children, but the point is that Mr McG is helping people who really need it. I'll check back and let you know how it goes...pray for the kids!

I would highly discourage you from hiring this attorney. He took his time with my case and never finished it. I had to fire him to finish it myself. He was very unprofessional and inappropriate as well. He made advances at me and I became very uncomfortable. I would not recommend this attorney.

Mr. McGarrell is not an attorney I would recommend. He handled the child custody battle I was going through with my daughter's father. Through the entire case, he promised me I would get more than what I originally wanted. In the end, I lost custody of my daughter, and now I am the one having to pay child support. He did not use the information I provided him in the right manner, and in the end, I looked like a fool to the judge. The father had an excellent attorney who knew much more than Mr. McGarrell. I am now stuck with a large balance, which will take years to pay off.

At my first visit he was very nice and we both talked about we expected as an outcome. It sounded good to me. But at the end of the trial. The outcome of the trial was far less than what I was told to expect by Tom. Now that I am completely broke. He is after me for to pay of a balance for a lousy representation.
