He is admitted to practice in Vermont and the U.S. Federal District Court for Vermont.Tom graduated from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA with his Bachelor of Arts in Government in 2010, where he was a John Marshall Pre-Law Honor Society Member, conducted research on the constitutionality of federal environmental laws, and has numerous academic awards. Tom graduated from Vermont Law School with his Juris Doctor in 2013. While in law school, he was a volunteer law clerk for a Maine state district court judge, a constitutional research assistant doing research on Vermont’s Constitution (specifically Chapter 1, Articles 11 and 13), a health care law intern for the Vermont Public Interest Research Group, and completed research on novel avenues of tort redressability for juvenile diseases acquired via artificial reproductive technology. After graduating from law school, he was a clinical research assistant and contributed to studies on meta-analysis of Haitian male prostate cancer, VVF-associated child mortality in Sierra Leone women, and numerous urodynamic studies. Prior to working at Martin & Associates, P.C., Tom was a staff attorney at the Department of Vermont Health Access where he handled complex healthcare matters.
