I am extremely pleased with Attorney Grieve after my case. I retained his firm to represent me on a serious matter. He was able to answer all of my questions and took the time to understand the issues and nuances of the case. Through his aggressive representation we accomplished far more than I had thought possible. I would recommend him and Grieve Law to anyone who is in need of an accomplished criminal and DUI attorney!
I was recently involved in relatively serious traffic violation. As a result I had police knocking at my door multiple times and were calling very frequently. My family and I were very anxious as the potential outcome could have been disastrous for my family. I called Tom Grieve and he immediately calmed me down by fully explaining the situation I was in and took control immediately. He called the police and as a result they backed down right away. I work 3rd shift and was worried about being able to be in contact with him when I needed to be, but Tom worked around my schedule as if he shared my hours. He was always available and always returned my calls in a timely matter. Tom is a very busy attorney and I probably called much more often than was necessary but he never acted annoyed or rushed. With his help he walked me through everything that was in my best interest and I followed his instructions. As a result, in the end his hard work exonerated me from the charges that were leveled against me. I know that I couldn't have been his priority case but he acted as if I was. Each and every time i reached out to him he took the time to answer all of my questions. He even contacted my wife who wasn't even his client when she had questions about the case. I cannot recommend him strongly enough. I have worked with a few attorneys in the past and have been let down every time and Tom has renewed my faith in them. He went above and beyond what I expected from him. Hopefully I will not be in need of an attorney again to help me out of legal trouble, but if I do his is the only name I'll be calling.
Attorney Grieve represented me in a case involving my firearm. According to the law, I didn't commit a crime. This didn't stop a Waukesha County DA from charging me with a crime - not once, but twice. Both cases were dismissed for No Probable Cause. But, the process took over a year. Never having committed a crime in my life, the criminal justice system was foreign and terrifying to me. Tom was wonderful about informing me as to what would happen, not only that first day in court, but with all that followed. He knew, and was sensitive to, how upset I was - in fact, I was an emotional mess! Added to this, the media had a field day. Reporters were at the first hearing doing everything they could to get me to say something they could use (probably against me). Thanks to Tom's instructions for what the media might do, I didn't say one word. I can tell you that if I hadn't trusted Attorney Grieve, I would have spoken out and most likely in anger. In fact, in this long process, I realized that I could trust his counsel always. I never in my entire life thought I would need a defense attorney. And, most definitely, I could not have found a more excellent one! Tom is not only a competent attorney but a person of character both ethically and morally.
I hired Tom to handle my DUI case. It wasn't my first DUI, so I've had experience working with other attorneys, who simply took my money, showed up in court, and didn't do much else in between. Tom, thankfully, was not such an attorney. He impressed me with his knowledge, thoroughness, and persistence. He thought of every angle to try to get the best outcome and wouldn't give up. I always felt I was in good hands and found him very reassuring during a really difficult time. When my family had questions and concerns, he was willing to reassure them, as well. And they, too, have expressed how impressed they were with him. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TOM GRIEVE TO ANYONE WHO NEEDS A DUI ATTORNEY.
