I have used Mr. Cena for my divorce as well as for litigation of intent to relocate with children, child support, and a parenting plan. Mr. Cena's knowledge of family law is impeccable. The divorce went smoothly and I got everything I wanted. He has been available and attentive to my needs, wants, and concerns as his client. After my divorce, I decided I would like to move and Mr. Cena filed my intent to relocate, which my ex objected to and was ruthless and malicious in his moves to negate it. Mr. Cena was level-headed honest and worked diligently through out the entire process. I was allowed to relocate with my children. Mr. Cena is a lawyer who practices with tact and professionalism. He also takes a stand for his clients and makes time for his clients. I am still working with Mr. Cena as tumultuous events arise sporadically with my ex and I feel comfortable and worry very little knowing Mr. Cena is working for me and my family. I recommend him highly and cannot express how much he has done for my family!
One goes into a divorce scared, hurt and angry. Tom made it very clear that he understood my priorities. That being, my children and that I wanted to be able to stay home with them for as long as possible. He even was able to call in some other amazing specialists. Ones that worked with the kids and with my ex and I on finances. He understood that I did want to be fair. I was not out for blood. He is a very ethical. Made sure the other side knew what we were asking and why. Never inflammatory, but made darn sure the other side knew when we would not back down. I would recommend him highly. In the end. Got what I needed. Done as quickly as possible. Not dragging it out for the sake of dragging it out. He has a wonderful office staff as well. *side note* his sense of humor really helps break the tension in an awkward situation.
I was going through a horrible divorce and needed the best attorney I could find. Tom Cena came highly recommended from friends. When I went for my first consultation, I knew immediately I wanted Tom to represent me. Throughout my ordeal, we worked as a team. He kept me informed of everything that was happening or could happen. Tom is kind and a very knowledgeable attorney and well respected by his peers. I was and am proud to say "hey, that is Tom Cena my attorney. Not only because he won my case for me, but because he is an awesome arrorney.
We were very lucky to find Thomas Cena. He successfully handled a difficult and complicated adoption for us. From the moment I walked into his office I felt I had chosen the right attorney. He was professional, knowledgable and kind. He took time to explain everything and walked us through the entire process. In court I had the impression that he was respected by everyone, the judge, court administrator etc. I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for what he's done for our family!
This law office was a good fit for me. Tom Cena is very passionate about what he does. The only things missed in my divorce proceedings were my fault not his. He did a great job against my narcissistic ex. He could not be as good as he is without Rhonda, his Admin Asst. She's the bomb! I was kept informed of all meetings and proceedings. I felt like I was treated like a human being and not just a number. They are a tough act to follow.
I was impressed at our first consultation and gave Mr. Cena a $2,500 retainer. At our first court hearing the judge ruled that he did not complete the necessay documents so the case was postponed. In the first meeting with my spouse's counsel he provided little support, preferring to let my spouse's counsel dictate terms. He communicated sparingly with me over the next two months. Each time I called or met with him I was billed for time including a substantial amount to review the file. After paying $10,000 and suffering through his belittling and condescending tone I fired him and switched to another attorney. The new attorney got me $3,000 in monthly support, one of the two houses, and $100,000. Cena convinced me to accept my spouse's offer of $1,250 a month for support and urged me to settle for $37,500 and no house. During the last negotiation conference Cena did not consider the house, he did not even know that an appraisal was needed for the second house my spouse purchased. Mr. Cena simply wanted to settle the case quickly with little effort on his part and no concern for me (his client). I would not recommend him to handle any divorce case. I believe he is more interested in billing for his services than concern for an equitable settlement for his client. What my new attorney was able to obtain for me supports my concern about his ability. I would also add that he has little to no compassion to deal with divorce cases.
