Theresa Wade has worked with my family and for our professional business as well. She has excellent attention to detail which has severed us well both in our family and our business. Theresa is highly knowledgeable on Oregon Elder Law and Estates and is able to explain complicated legal matters with ease. She is an excellent choice for our needs.

Terry has always been there for me and my family providing excellent service in preparing and updating our trusts. In addition, she has handled various needs for my business.

Terry recently revised my former Trust which was out-of-date, unnecessarily complicated and convoluted. With great skill and efficiency, she produced a new document which is straightforward and covers all the necessary elements. She patiently explained in layman's language the more complicated sections. Working with Terry is a great experience.

Terry has been an extraordinary guide, resource and friend to the Lord and Schryver Conservancy as it has evolved from a small non-profit with no tangible assets to its current status as owner of the property, Gaiety Hollow, in Salem. She continues to help us as we develop this site, the former home, garden and studio, of these two notable landscape architects, into a cultural and educational resource for the community. As a lawyer, Terry has given good advice, steering us through the thicket of endless rules and regulations, sorting out the important from unimportant considerations, providing references for colleagues as the need arises, quick to defer to peers when a question is out of her expertise, and has the rare ability to write in English and explain complex legal matters so a normal person can understand. Her replies to emails are immediate; she has come to some of our board meetings in the evening to explain procedures and answer questions. As a person, Terry is warm, friendly, unassuming and blessed with good humor. She always leaves herself open to be of service. There is no doubt that the Conservancy would not be where it is today without Terry's unfailing support.

Due to relocations, Terry is the third estate attorney. By far, she is the best in terms of giving her time, thoroughly explaining terms and processes in everyday language, extending advice and thoughts on topics indirectly related to estate planning. Based on my working relationship with Terry, I confidently recommend her to others in need of estate planning; and their reactions are the same: "she's terrific!"

I had a stupid misdemeanor which never should have been there and was hurting my employment record way out of proportion to the incident. This came to Terry’s attention, and while not specifically in her main area of expertise, she called upon her firm’s resources and helped me get it removed, because it was the right thing to do.

I had a stupid misdemeanor which never should have been there and was hurting my employment record way out of proportion to the incident. This came to Terry’s attention, and while not specifically in her main area of expertise, she called upon her firm’s resources and helped me get it removed, because it was the right thing to do.
