I have never written a review but felt compelled to 3 years post hiring T. Trogden. She did the minimal required; court filing but did nothing to fight my case. I was continually told how much it would cost and that I did not have it. She became FB friends with the opposing attorney. I lost my son because she failed to defend my case. 3 years later she says she doesn't know the temperature of domestic violence in Douglas County and that she is looking to retire soon. She has already retired, but is just collecting a pay check. Lawyers are dangerous who forget What domestic violence and abuse is And do not defend their clients. The statistics are real; CASDA website: Key Statistics Prevalence of Domestic Violence in the United States On average more than three women a day are murdered by their husbands or boyfriends in the United States.1 Nearly one in four women in the United States reports experiencing violence by a current or former spouse or boyfriend at some point in her life.2 Women are much more likely than men to be victimized by a current or former intimate partner.3 Women are 84 percent of spouse abuse victims and 86 percent of victims of abuse at the hands of a boyfriend or girlfriend. About three-fourths of the persons who commit family violence are male.4 Women ages 20 to 24 are at the greatest risk of experiencing nonfatal intimate partner violence. 5Violence and Young People 15.5 million children in the United States live in families in which partner violence occurred at least once in the past year, and seven million children live in families in which severe partner violence occurred.6 In a single day in 2008, 16,458 children were living in a domestic violence shelter or transitional housing facility. Another 6,430 children sought services at a non-residential program. T. Trogden is retired do not go to her, she too tired to defend you and forgot what that means without the might dollar.
Ms. Trogdon was very nice personally, but did not perform any of the services hired for. She passed the case off to a younger attorney, who missed filing deadlines and in court hearings. They failed to negotiate ANYTHING into a settlement agreement. The opposing attorney ran circles around her. Not only did we lose everything, we had a $10,000 + bill on top of it...for Nothing! After being fired, she continued billing and went to court twice to collect. Both attorney had time to do that, but not to work on my case. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS WORTHLESS ATTORNEY!!!
