About
Experience is key when dealing with the legal system. Will Drexler has been in the legal field for over 20 years, working initially as a criminal defense investigator in Colorado Springs for 13 years, next as an attorney with Colorado State Public Defender for six years, and in private practice since. As an investigator, Will worked primarily on state appointed criminal defense cases ranging from misdemeanors to capital homicides. In that career, he worked with many of the State’s finest lawyers on some of the most difficult cases. As a member of A+ criminal defense teams, Will had an exceptional opportunity to learn first-hand what legal methods and strategies were effective, which ones weren’t, and why. In the next six years as a public defender, those investigator experiences shaped Will’s own practice of law, again in a wide range of cases including first degree murder. Combined with the intense training and experience at the Colorado State Public Defender, renowned as one of the strongest public defender systems in the United States, Will crafted effective and proven case strategies, distinguishing him as a strong and skilled trial lawyer. Will provides exceptional representation to clients with matters in the Colorado and Federal Courts. With compassion and understanding for his clients, and for the life circumstances that bring them into the legal system, Will brings experience and skill towards the goal of achieving the best possible result.

William Drexler was my lawyer for two seperate cases. The first case was an adjustment of child support as my income had decreased over several years. Mr Drexler handled the case with relative ease as my ex wife was being difficult. He was able to make a fair assessment of the situation and adjust the amount of child support to a fair and equitable level. I was very happy with the outcome. The second case was a contempt of court orders filed by my ex wife on the day of the first case hearing. I was served as I entered the court room. Mr Drexler was asked to handle that case and did so in a most profesisonal manner. He was able to introduce evidence that not only prevailed the contempt charges but also saved me from punitive damage as well. His ability to gather the required evidence and diminish the case against me was spectacular in its preparation and presentation. I am very extremly grateful for the service to me in both cases.
I honestly don't even know where to begin, first off let me tell you about me, I'm a single father in Colorado Springs, CO. A quick synopsis, I hired William Drexler to represent me in a criminal case as to which I was accused of harassment via telephone, harassment via repeated text, as well as interfering with a peace officer or firefighter and charged accordingly to the allegations. The evidence at hand were pictures taken by a camera of over 168 text messages stating "HAHA" repeatedly and one containing the words "Dumb Fat B word" or something in that manner. This case wasn't a simple open and shut case, nor was it at all easy for Mr. William Drexler to prove my innocence as well as showing the true motive behind all the allegations. There were constitutional rights violated with illegal entry into my home by the police without a warrant as well as us both having our sides of the stories. With that said, there's not a day that goes by that I am not thankful for all he did for me. If there's one word I can find for William, it would be shocking. This city needs more attorneys like this man right here. Not only attorney's, but the law firm as a whole. Never have I felt so confident in somebody else, nor has anybody ever shocked and awed me as much as he did with how skilled he is in his trade. Throughout the duration of my case William was always honest and up front with me about everything. Every phone call and meeting we had was conducted in a professional manner that also made me feel like I wasn't necessarily speaking to an attorney but more welcoming like a friend. There were times I was very flustered, and I'm not the easiest person to deal with in those times, where I would try to tell him how to do his job and what he could do in order to get something done. He would listen to my perspective of the matter and take into account the things he felt were important in the case and not just tell me he couldn't do something but would educate me as to why it couldn't be done that way and would show and tell me the way we would have to go about it in order to pursue what it was that I was trying to accomplish. On top of doing that, he would also let me know the path he was thinking about taking and after we would discuss things and have them on the board he would actually take what he liked and put them together. HE ACTUALLY LISTENED, and took my concerns into thought and acted on it accordingly. When our court date finally came about he was more than I ever thought he could be. He kept me in the loop every step of the way, translated law lingo into English for me and everything. He wasn't just my attorney, we were a team. Throughout the case he had the District Attorney all over the place and was ready for anything. His questions, all straight to the point. His focus was the case and only the case. He took our strengths in the case and portrayed them to the jury and did not falter. Had he not been so well versed in his field, I would not be here today as the proud single dad I am now able to wake up each day to my amazing son. Thank you William Drexler and I hope you remember me. Just know I am truly grateful for all you and your law firm did for me and my family.
After several weeks of negotiating and the advice I received from Will, I was able to receive a deal that worked out for me. When it was tough, Will shared his experience will me. Thanks again for helping me to the deal I received Will.
