I was extremely nervous to set up my small business. I was sure I would miss a step. I let Teresa Daggett take the lead and I am so happy I did. Teresa helped me create an LLC, register with the State, trademark the business name, and put together an amazing contract for me to use with future clients. Then she explained everything to me so I felt confident handling things in the future. Teresa answered the phone when I called, could meet with me right away, was available to answer all my questions, and got the job done quick. I was referred to Teresa Daggett for her expertise in business contract law. I first hired her to help me form my LLC and continued working with her throughout the process of purchasing a business. Nailing down a business purchase agreement that satisfied both parties took some time and I felt well represented throughout negotiations. After closing the sale, I had need to consult with Teresa again to draw up a non-disparagement contract with a former employee. In each of these tasks, I felt Teresa listened well to my needs, was very accessible and responsive, and expressed a genuine interest in my business and its success. Recently I called Teresa with a non-related, legal question and was warmly received (and remembered). Teresa Was recommended to us by an attorney group in Spokane, WA. We contacted her and were able to get an appointment to see her within a couple days. We sold our business and wanted her to represent us from acceptance of sale to closing. She gave us a very organized schedule on her firm, her work, and the costs and scope of work she would do as well as a well-defined list of needs we could email or fax to her to get started. She was back to us the day after submitting the needs list to go over the data and told us she would be back to us once she had touched base with the buyer's attorney, and did so with a very detailed look at the whole transaction and how we should feel good about their intent and ability to do the deal. She stayed in touch with us nearly every day while she sent papers to their attorney and getting the needs from him she had asked for as well. She amended sections of the purchase agreement several times during the course of the transaction and always highlighted the areas of changes. She also worked hard for us and our best interests. For example, there was a contract for the balance of purchase price that had no interest stated. She stated there needs to be payment of interest and negotiated a fair rate to be paid in the agreement. She also negotiated more collateral to be put behind the continued payments of the five year contract, an issue we were definitely worried about as far as having some peace of mind we would receive the funds after closing. She also made clear that certain vendors we needed paid that we were in arrears with at the time would be paid. Most importantly, she represented us with the assigned IRS agent to pay and clear the tax liens that had accrued over the past few years of troubled times for the business. She was at her best in helping us get the liens paid as agreed by the seller and fully released by the IRS. Teresa was always cordial, professional, and upbeat in her dealings with us. She made us feel very comfortable during the course of the transaction, even when problems occurred. She gave us a closing checklist that was so organized, we felt sure we knew exactly what was going to happen. She also was instrumental in documents drawn which were construed to be the responsibility of the buyer's attorney, but not completed by him. Such a document was the estoppel letter to be signed by our present landlord at the place of business. Teresa was truly on our side of a transaction we needed to occur due to our difficulties in keeping our business profitable, She knew our deal was skinny as far as what we needed in order to pay off our business notes and lines of credit as well liens to IRS. Knowing this, she gave us a break on her normally charged rate, which really aided our ouy of pocket concerns. The sellers changed closing dates three times due to their stated needs and she kept us up to date on our concerns about these delays and assured us the intent was there to close and that July 6th would be the final extension as it was. All in all she always kept us informed and feeling good things were going to happen and that she would make sure all contacts were made and all needs were met, many times by her taking things on herself to get done. She thanked us for being such gracious customers, which we thought was so professional, when she was the one that did all the work and was so gracious throughout. My wife and I can't say enough about the professional and gracious way we were treated as well as the diligent and organized work she completed for us. Thank You, so much Teresa for being there for us and making the long journey of completing the sale of our business so easy.

Teresa Was recommended to us by an attorney group in Spokane, WA. We contacted her and were able to get an appointment to see her within a couple days. We sold our business and wanted her to represent us from acceptance of sale to closing. She gave us a very organized schedule on her firm, her work, and the costs and scope of work she would do as well as a well-defined list of needs we could email or fax to her to get started. She was back to us the day after submitting the needs list to go over the data and told us she would be back to us once she had touched base with the buyer's attorney, and did so with a very detailed look at the whole transaction and how we should feel good about their intent and ability to do the deal. She stayed in touch with us nearly every day while she sent papers to their attorney and getting the needs from him she had asked for as well. She amended sections of the purchase agreement several times during the course of the transaction and always highlighted the areas of changes. She also worked hard for us and our best interests. For example, there was a contract for the balance of purchase price that had no interest stated. She stated there needs to be payment of interest and negotiated a fair rate to be paid in the agreement. She also negotiated more collateral to be put behind the continued payments of the five year contract, an issue we were definitely worried about as far as having some peace of mind we would receive the funds after closing. She also made clear that certain vendors we needed paid that we were in arrears with at the time would be paid. Most importantly, she represented us with the assigned IRS agent to pay and clear the tax liens that had accrued over the past few years of troubled times for the business. She was at her best in helping us get the liens paid as agreed by the seller and fully released by the IRS. Teresa was always cordial, professional, and upbeat in her dealings with us. She made us feel very comfortable during the course of the transaction, even when problems occurred. She gave us a closing checklist that was so organized, we felt sure we knew exactly what was going to happen. She also was instrumental in documents drawn which were construed to be the responsibility of the buyer's attorney, but not completed by him. Such a document was the estoppel letter to be signed by our present landlord at the place of business. Teresa was truly on our side of a transaction we needed to occur due to our difficulties in keeping our business profitable, She knew our deal was skinny as far as what we needed in order to pay off our business notes and lines of credit as well liens to IRS. Knowing this, she gave us a break on her normally charged rate, which really aided our ouy of pocket concerns. The sellers changed closing dates three times due to their stated needs and she kept us up to date on our concerns about these delays and assured us the intent was there to close and that July 6th would be the final extension as it was. All in all she always kept us informed and feeling good things were going to happen and that she would make sure all contacts were made and all needs were met, many times by her taking things on herself to get done. She thanked us for being such gracious customers, which we thought was so professional, when she was the one that did all the work and was so gracious throughout. My wife and I can't say enough about the professional and gracious way we were treated as well as the diligent and organized work she completed for us. Thank You, so much Teresa for being there for us and making the long journey of completing the sale of our business so easy.

Teresa Was recommended to us by an attorney group in Spokane, WA. We contacted her and were able to get an appointment to see her within a couple days. We sold our business and wanted her to represent us from acceptance of sale to closing. She gave us a very organized schedule on her firm, her work, and the costs and scope of work she would do as well as a well-defined list of needs we could email or fax to her to get started. She was back to us the day after submitting the needs list to go over the data and told us she would be back to us once she had touched base with the buyer's attorney, and did so with a very detailed look at the whole transaction and how we should feel good about their intent and ability to do the deal. She stayed in touch with us nearly every day while she sent papers to their attorney and getting the needs from him she had asked for as well. She amended sections of the purchase agreement several times during the course of the transaction and always highlighted the areas of changes. She also worked hard for us and our best interests. For example, there was a contract for the balance of purchase price that had no interest stated. She stated there needs to be payment of interest and negotiated a fair rate to be paid in the agreement. She also negotiated more collateral to be put behind the continued payments of the five year contract, an issue we were definitely worried about as far as having some peace of mind we would receive the funds after closing. She also made clear that certain vendors we needed paid that we were in arrears with at the time would be paid. Most importantly, she represented us with the assigned IRS agent to pay and clear the tax liens that had accrued over the past few years of troubled times for the business. She was at her best in helping us get the liens paid as agreed by the seller and fully released by the IRS. Teresa was always cordial, professional, and upbeat in her dealings with us. She made us feel very comfortable during the course of the transaction, even when problems occurred. She gave us a closing checklist that was so organized, we felt sure we knew exactly what was going to happen. She also was instrumental in documents drawn which were construed to be the responsibility of the buyer's attorney, but not completed by him. Such a document was the estoppel letter to be signed by our present landlord at the place of business. Teresa was truly on our side of a transaction we needed to occur due to our difficulties in keeping our business profitable, She knew our deal was skinny as far as what we needed in order to pay off our business notes and lines of credit as well liens to IRS. Knowing this, she gave us a break on her normally charged rate, which really aided our ouy of pocket concerns. The sellers changed closing dates three times due to their stated needs and she kept us up to date on our concerns about these delays and assured us the intent was there to close and that July 6th would be the final extension as it was. All in all she always kept us informed and feeling good things were going to happen and that she would make sure all contacts were made and all needs were met, many times by her taking things on herself to get done. She thanked us for being such gracious customers, which we thought was so professional, when she was the one that did all the work and was so gracious throughout. My wife and I can't say enough about the professional and gracious way we were treated as well as the diligent and organized work she completed for us. We have had a couple of unusual problems lately. As a nonprofit, you often try to figure things out yourself, but we really needed specific guidance and legal knowledge. Teresa helped quickly, efficiently, effectively in both cases. I recommend her highly.

Teresa Was recommended to us by an attorney group in Spokane, WA. We contacted her and were able to get an appointment to see her within a couple days. We sold our business and wanted her to represent us from acceptance of sale to closing. She gave us a very organized schedule on her firm, her work, and the costs and scope of work she would do as well as a well-defined list of needs we could email or fax to her to get started. She was back to us the day after submitting the needs list to go over the data and told us she would be back to us once she had touched base with the buyer's attorney, and did so with a very detailed look at the whole transaction and how we should feel good about their intent and ability to do the deal. She stayed in touch with us nearly every day while she sent papers to their attorney and getting the needs from him she had asked for as well. She amended sections of the purchase agreement several times during the course of the transaction and always highlighted the areas of changes. She also worked hard for us and our best interests. For example, there was a contract for the balance of purchase price that had no interest stated. She stated there needs to be payment of interest and negotiated a fair rate to be paid in the agreement. She also negotiated more collateral to be put behind the continued payments of the five year contract, an issue we were definitely worried about as far as having some peace of mind we would receive the funds after closing. She also made clear that certain vendors we needed paid that we were in arrears with at the time would be paid. Most importantly, she represented us with the assigned IRS agent to pay and clear the tax liens that had accrued over the past few years of troubled times for the business. She was at her best in helping us get the liens paid as agreed by the seller and fully released by the IRS. Teresa was always cordial, professional, and upbeat in her dealings with us. She made us feel very comfortable during the course of the transaction, even when problems occurred. She gave us a closing checklist that was so organized, we felt sure we knew exactly what was going to happen. She also was instrumental in documents drawn which were construed to be the responsibility of the buyer's attorney, but not completed by him. Such a document was the estoppel letter to be signed by our present landlord at the place of business. Teresa was truly on our side of a transaction we needed to occur due to our difficulties in keeping our business profitable, She knew our deal was skinny as far as what we needed in order to pay off our business notes and lines of credit as well liens to IRS. Knowing this, she gave us a break on her normally charged rate, which really aided our ouy of pocket concerns. The sellers changed closing dates three times due to their stated needs and she kept us up to date on our concerns about these delays and assured us the intent was there to close and that July 6th would be the final extension as it was. All in all she always kept us informed and feeling good things were going to happen and that she would make sure all contacts were made and all needs were met, many times by her taking things on herself to get done. She thanked us for being such gracious customers, which we thought was so professional, when she was the one that did all the work and was so gracious throughout. My wife and I can't say enough about the professional and gracious way we were treated as well as the diligent and organized work she completed for us. Thank You, so much Teresa for being there for us and making the long journey of completing the sale of our business so easy.
