Teleicia J.R. Dambreville is an associate in Obermayer’s Labor Relations and Employment Law Department and has spent her entire career at Obermayer. Ms. Dambreville handles a wide variety of employment law matters and routinely counsels management in all aspects of labor and employment law, including hiring, termination, document retention, reduction-in-force decisions, and compliance with both federal and state employments laws, including the Family and Medical Leave Act, Americans With Disabilities Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, and Title VII. She represents management in a wide variety of employment litigation matters, including: Ms. Dambreville is also experienced in defending single plaintiff discrimination cases, conducting investigations into employee grievances, and counseling management on the best practices for developing various employment policies, including social media polices, affirmative action compliance, pre-hiring inquires, restrictive covenants and severance agreements. In addition to her labor and employment practice, Ms. Dambreville also assists clients in domestic relations matters, and counsels clients on the various aspects of divorce, custody, and support. She continues to volunteer with and advise the National Black Law Students Association, where she previously Served as the National Director of Programming and the National Director of Alumni Affairs. Ms. Dambreville was an NCAA scholar-athlete in track & field during her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan.
